Because at the depth they live at the sun can't change the colour of them giving the string ray a grey appearance also it keeps them camouflage against the sand at the depths of the ocean

Mostly a carnivore,but researched it to digest plants and animals,so its a ovnivore.

they dont really hide in sand, just they search the ocean floor for things to eat. it looks like they hide in sand because their wings move the sand upwards which then lands on their back.

Most stingrays run anywhere between 150-900 dollars. It all depends on the model and the age. The newer chopper style stingrays run at about 500 the old cruiser style with gorilla bars run at about 300

You could be stung, and it's very painful. Should that happen you need a doctor to treat you and remove the toxin, and if it's really bad you need to get to the ER immediately.

But stingrays are very shy, more afraid of you than you are of them, so your chances of stepping on one aren't very good. The best thing to do when walking in the water is shuffle your feet to give anything down there warning so it can swim away before you get near it.

The most dangerous part of the stingray is the barbed, poisoned tail. The mouth isn't really of much concern. Don't worry though. I have been bitten by a stingray (true story) and it doesn't have any teeth. It's like you took two pieces of sandpaper and pressed them on your hands. Discovering that my hand was not tasty, it spat it out. Nothing to be afraid of.

Stingray wounds should be washed with saltwater and then soaked in very hot water for 30-90 minutes to neutralize the venom. Afterwards, the wound should be examined by a doctor to ensure that no pieces of spine remain.

Tail spines are the delivery mechanism for stingray venom. Deep puncture wounds result that can cause an infection if pieces of spine become embedded in the wound.

Try a local zoo or aquarium.

I think flying fish has a thin body with wings.

Of course a sting ray can eat a hermit crab with they're jaw would be able to eat a rock!
