Both are widely accepted.

Certain words just have two ways of spelling it. Both should be considered correct, although some places in English speaking/writing countries strictly follow US/AU or UK typical form. This not excluding other countries or colonies.

Almanacs are books filled with information. The first person to write an almanac was Benjamin Franklin (the Poor Richards Almanac).
