Reincarnation

Reincarnation is the belief that a soul will keep being reborn into new bodies. Depending on the belief, the soul can come back as a plant, animal, or another person. Beliefs on reincarnation are different all over the world. Some religions or cultures do not believe in reincarnation at all, but for others it is a very strong part of their society.

Sorry, the word God itself has been unnecessarily created by intelligent people to keep everyone humble and meek imposing a fear that you will be ruined, if you don't pray God, or don't praise Him daily.

Also, the belief that there is future birth or your actions now, are the results of your actions in previous birth etc,......are all created by intelligent people, yet, who could not give proper reasons for many failures and successes in life of people. The creation of Future and Past births, is itself a convenient and satisfactory explanation to gullibles and so, this belief is still continuing in every religion. But, not for people like me, who does not even think of God or previous birth or future births. This does not mean that one can do whatever he likes including illegal activities. No, one has to be honest and should not act in any way to become a burden to anyone or society. If one can realise what is good and bad in life and follow only good things in life, definitely, one need not think of God or future life. If one does bad things, he will be punished by people, who have authority to do so, in the present life itself. Just imagining that there is a super power and we all should be grateful to it, by praying daily is not necessary. The very fact that we are all living here, because of that super power , does not force us to pray, since it has not asked us to pray. Even if you want to be grateful without being asked, then you will have to pray every minute,even forgetting your main responsibilities in life Will anyone do this? No.

Is Jesus a reincarnation of God?

No. To be a reincarnation, He would have had to have assumed humanity at an additional historical point prior to 4 BC. (His best-guess birthdate). Such an occurrence would have been signaled with Biblical prophecy and acknowledgement [which it wasn't because there wasn't one], just as His only incarnation was. During a prior incarnation, He would have conducted God's business and it would have been part of God's plan. The fact is, while there are Old Testament events thought to have been pre-incarnation Christophanies, there is no mention of an incarnation prior to the one in Bethlehem. This allows the conclusion that two incarnations [an incarnation and a reincarnation] were not part of God's plan, while one incarnation was, and, that the Bethlehem incarnation was His only incarnation, and therefore, not a reincarnation.

What are you called when you that you have more than 1 life?

Sylvia Browne views on dark entities?

I think that she believes that they are lost souls who basically cant seem to "get it right" during a particular incarnation and in turn, they will have to withstand a reincarnation on earth again and again until they can fix their karma. They are people that seem extremely negative to be around, hurtful, mean people only out for themselves and to harm other souls. Adolf Hitler and John Wayne gayce would be example of dark entities.

What religion believes in karma but not reincarnation?

Karma and reincarnation are intertwined, dual beliefs of the same system. The cycle of birth, death and rebirth is reincarnation, and the deeds of each life affect karma, which ultimately causes rebirth. This ends with Moksha, a release from the cycle as a result of leading life according to Karma, which is more a system of balances than one of reward and punishment.

Essentially, one attempts to lead life according to Karmic principals with the goal of eventually escaping the bonds of the temporal (physical) form.

While many spiritual belief systems incorporate some form of reincarnation (rebirth after death), the idea of Karma is intrinsic to reincarnation under Hinduism, and inseparable.

What is it called when you believe in reincarnation?

It means: you're going to hell for believing that.

What is the meaning of Moksha Dharma Karma and Reincarnation?

Moksha:

Originally Moksha meant freedom to have any of the four Varnas viz. Brahmana, Kshatriya, Vaishya and Shudra. This gave not only enormous freedom but also enormous knowledge. However, the exaggerated freedom Moksha gave made individual life and the Hindu society unstable. Therefore, Moksha was redefined.

In the original form one could attain Moksha during his life time and not after his death.

In the new form Moksha means freedom from cycles of Reincarnation.

Moksha is defined as freedom because Brahmana life is rigid. If a Shudra has to attain Moksha he must lose his freedom.

Dharma:

Dharma means virtual law that we can blindly follow but can't understand or violate.

Karma:

Karma originally meant manual way of changing Varnas. This is in contrast to Brahman who enables us to change our Varna automatically. Thus, Karma was a means to Brahman.

There were four different kinds of Karmas, each enabling a Hindu to have a different Varna.

Karma is a way in which Moving and Braking forces of thoughts and activities are linked.

In the redefined form good Karma is supposed to give us a higher Varna in the next life.

Reincarnation:

Reincarnation originally meant transformation of an activity every time it was repeated. Reincarnation thus referred to an activity and not to entire life.

To understand the present modification of the definition of Reincarnation we have to replace the word 'life' with the word 'activity'. Thus, in the original form, 'putting an end to cycles of Reincarnation' means 'preventing transformation of the activity every time it is repeated'.

It has to be realized that it is the variations in Braking or Inertial force that leads to transformation or Reincarnation of an activity every time it is repeated.

The aim was to separate Moving and Braking forces of an activity completely so that they could be blended in four different ways and thus have four different Varnas.

Is reincarnation part of Christianity?

To be short and sweet: No. Not at all.

= Reincarnation and the Bible. = The most "convincing" texts of this kind are the following:

1) Matthew 11,14 and 17,12-13, concerning the identity of John the Baptist;

2) John 9,2, "Who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?";

3) John 3,3, "No one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again";

4) James 3,6, "the wheel of nature";

5) Galatians 6,7, "A man reaps what he sows";

6) Matthew 26,52, "all who draw the sword will die by the sword";

7) Revelation 13,10, "If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed."

For full text, see link. Note; numbers 5, 6 &7 refers to Karma I believe. See also Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.

The Bible contains not one single reference to reincarnation as it is taught in eastern religions.

Reincarnation is not only not found in the Bible, it is also not part of the Christian faith.

The Bible, and all Christian churches follow the teaching that 'it is appointed once to die and after this the judgment.' There is no continual cycle of death and rebirth.

Verses clearly taken out of context have nothing whatsoever to do with reincarnation, In particular the John 3 reference to being 'born again' is referring to the necessity of a spiritual birth, since people are effectively as they are, 'dead' to God and His will and ways and so need to be 'born again'. This has absolutely no relation whatsoever to a person being reincarnated as taught say, in Hinduism. Reading the whole passage in context makes this abundantly clear.

Galatians 6:7 refers to the 'law of consequences' in that our actions produce results. It doesn't even address the issue of reincarnation but is talking about actions in this present life. Again, the context of Christian life being discussed in the passage makes this clear.

Why does reincarnation seem fair?

Reincarnation is often perceived as fair because it allows individuals multiple opportunities to learn, grow, and rectify past mistakes. This cycle provides a chance for personal development and transformation across different lifetimes, enabling souls to experience various circumstances and challenges. Additionally, it offers a sense of justice, as actions in one life can influence future experiences, promoting accountability for one's choices. Ultimately, it fosters a belief in balance and continuity in the journey of the soul.

Does part of soul still exist after reincarnation in afterlife?

Unfortunately, we don't know the meaning of Soul. We think we have a Soul, we don't realize we are the Soul. Therefore, we wonder whether a part of the Soul exists after reincarnation. No, the whole exists. The Soul is everywhere, in everything - in everything in this world there is nothing but Soul. This body appears and disappears like a dream, the mind is an illusion, where it is you cannot find. We are actually the Divine Soul that appears as the body and mind. But because we don't realize we are the Divine Soul, we think we have a Soul, we think of parts of the Soul. There is nothing like a part of a Soul. It's just like asking - what happens to a part of the air of the atmosphere? You can't talk of a part of the air, there is one air in the atmosphere, there is one Soul in this universe. We must realize this truth.
