Reincarnation is the belief that a soul will keep being reborn into new bodies. Depending on the belief, the soul can come back as a plant, animal, or another person. Beliefs on reincarnation are different all over the world. Some religions or cultures do not believe in reincarnation at all, but for others it is a very strong part of their society.

Re-incarnation is the teaching that man does not really die but but that he is endlessly re-born into new life cycles until such time as he is sufficiently
perfected and qualifies for endless rest which is called "Nirvana". Once a person has died his spirit is re-born into another cycle of life, not necessarily human, it could be animal, a part of nature, a butterfly, etc. and there is no remembrance of any previous life or life forms.
The word incarnation (no "re' in front of the word) means to take on bodily form or to be embodied in flesh. An example would be the the incarnation of Jesus Christ into bodily form (as the baby Jesus) When the "re" is placed at the beginning of the word - re-incarnation - it refers to a continuing re-birth of the soul in successive bodies.
As a Christian, this what the Bible (God's word) tells it's readers: Jesus left heaven and came to earth to be born as a man. He came once and later died on the cross to save (salvation) us from sin. The Bible says in Hebrew 9:27 " ..and it is appointed to man to die once and then the judgement". To be with God or not to be with God. We don't get re-incarnated to come back and have another shot at life hoping to better ourselves.

After some months or years we can use a different tone and repeat the process again. We can repeat this many times.

The various incarnations of Vishnu gives as an idea of how our life would change if we keep changing the tone of our body muscles. Even after he incarnates many times his basic nature continues to be the same and he continues to be the preserver.
