The cycle of reincarnation means that if you are good and follow your dharma, you will have a good next life.

But the real goal is to be spiritually successful enough as to achieve moksha, and escape reincarnation and join God.

Aupmanyav: The real goal is that people do good deeds and keep away from evil deeds, so that the society prospers. Gods and Goddesses are optional and so is reincarnation and moksha, good if you believe, also good if you do not believe.

I was born on June 20, 1989. I just learned a few months ago that surrounding some strange coincidences, I may in fact have been Audie in a past life. I'm currently talking with an expert on the subject of reincarnation and hypnosis via E-Mail. He has asked me to write a biography (assuming brief but to the point) about myself as well as other information including pictures. All this being from my current life as I have not yet recalled any memories of being Audie at this time, at least not concrete said for a few reoccurring plane crash dreams. This is all speculation on my part but, hey I'll keep you posted if you are interested. By the way I was born in Vancouver BC, Canada.

As far as I know, The true early christians never taught Reincarnation. As you probably well know, Christianity came from Judaism. Judaism never taught reincarnation. Reincarnation is primaraly a Pagan, that is either a religion that is not an abrahamic religion (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) or a religion that worships many gods, concept. Misguided early christians, may have incorporated reincarnation into their aldulturated form of Christianity. However, they were clearly not influential enough to influence mainstream Christianity. either that, or they saw the truth, in my opinion.

Reincarnation is the belief that people come back to earth to continue their lives and existence. They say life is a school, and if you fail the course you have to repeat.

Anything. You could be born again as a human, animal, bird, plant, fish, insect, etc. Your birth is determined by your past deeds.

Christians do not believe in reincarnation. Christians believe in Heaven.

There is a life after death, and it doesn't say that there isn't in the bible. If you look at the bible dictionary or the topical guide and look up death, you can find some places to go where it says that.

To my knowledge (and it's quite extensive having studied the Bible for 40 years or so) there aren't any. The reason for this is that reincarnation is not the belief of either the Jewish faith of the Old Testament, nor the Christian faith of the New Testament. Christians believe in an eternal afterlife with God made posble by Christ's death on the Cross. Eternal does not mean going on and on, but means existing outside time - as does God. Because of sin the relationship between God and us was broken, but by Christ's sacrifice, he paid the price for that sin dying in our place on the Cross, thus paying the price that we should have paid. As a result, he made possible for those who trust in him an eternal existence, full of joy and happiness, with God in heaven. A far cry from 'coming back' as a rabbit or something.
