The Remington 700 series of rifles have a couple of ways to remove the bolt. If you DON'T have a release just in front of the trigger that you must push up when drawing the bolt rearward, then you need to insert a small, thin blade screwdriver into the left rear of the stock between the receiver and the back of the stock to activate (push forward) the bolt stop. While doing that, pull the bolt backward and it will come out of the receiver.
