hi affter one week trying to start car i paid out for diagnotic test on car .was told the problem was my fuel pump/ and crank censor /and low battery /replaced them car still wouldnt start took( petrol pump relay )out cleaned both of them still didnt start so got two relays from scrap yard .i notist some corosion on the relay block ceaned it with screwdriver and sand paper put relays in and yes it worked so what could of cost two pound ended up costing 150 replacing parts . in answer to your question the relays are under fuse box on left hand side of engine you have to lift the black block out to see them
the bolts should be very very very loose. in other words, don't tighten at all!

Some speedo heads have a factory installed tape running across the mating surface that will break if head is removed from the cluster. Look for marks in the dash which may show that the area has been taken apart. If the odometer is analog type, the numbers will usually not line up correctly once the unit goes over 100,000 miles

If leaking into oil, you will notice that the engine oil will have a brown/milky look to it as you check the oil level on the engine oil dipstick.

it has a timed relay. Toyota used them for a while too, people complned and they stopped using them. as long as it shuts off in less than 30 seconds you are ok.
its a fail safe mode. possibly the multifunction sensor is not working well or is damp. try drying it up and use the electronic tool to reset it. there is a temp solution to override it, via a button located near the gear lever. plse check with the mechanic. other reasons might be the gear linkage or the gearbox.
