Hi, I know a 1921 Thompson could cost near u$s17,000.- to 35,000.- due recent auctions and sales. Only 15,000 were built, most for export and only a few still survive. Famous Tommys are out of range, near 1,000,000 (Dillinger´s) and others.
The only reference I have for Riverside Arms says that they were made by Stevens, J Arms (who are now owned by the Savage Arms Co.). Riverside Arms was probably a trade name for one of the large wholesellers operating during the early 1900's. The fact that the gun has a s/n implys that it was indeed made by a major manufactor (many of the low cost guns of that era did not), which reinforces the above reference.

Riverside was a Montgomery Wards brand manufactured by Stevens and Savage. None of these guns retain very much value. Value in guns is derived at by two ways, rarity and quality. Neither of these apply with any Riverside gun. Your gun is probably from the 50's or 60's. Pick up a used Shooters Bible at a flea market and keep it as a reference book.

Where can you find parts for riverside double barrel shotguns with exposed hammers?
What you have is a model 215 Riverside Double Barreled shotgun. There are only two models, the other one (315) has internal hammers.
I recently obtained a model 215 and needed a new barell. I found a site that lists Riverside parts, but cannot vouch for them as I have not ordered yet.
