Are roller coasters good for your health?

They are more safe than cars because of lap restraints and multiple wheels to allow the cart to go upside down.

But "freak accidents" do happen.

Very rarely though.

They are safe if you ride safely. I heard of these two teenage boys that dared each other to unbuckle and switch seats with each other at the part where you first go up and up at the top where it stops. But... they both fell. So there's your lesson on roller coaster safety! :)

Roller Coasters have about a 00.2% chance of crashing. That is because they are engineered for about 3 months.

How many roller coasters are there at Busch Gardens?

There are four roller coasters in Busch Gardes, VA. Apollo's Chariot has the biggest drop, is the fastest, has the longest track length, and has the most G Force, which makes this ride the scariest. The other three are Griffon, Loch Ness Monster, and Alpengeist.

If you want to know which one would be the best, it depends. If your a thrill seeker, probably Apollo's Chariot or Griffon would be the best (don't go on if sick). If yo want a mild one, choose Loch Ness Monster. If you want a really fun one choose Alpengeist.

What make roller coasters scary?

The rapid change and rise and fall of air pressure send certain signals to our brains so we can feel the adrenaline that usually comes with riding a roller coaster.Isaac Newton never had a chance to ride a roller coaster. The first one was built 75 years after his death. But the principles involved in roller coasters are right up Sir Isaac's alley.Newton's laws of motion describe how forces determine the motion of objects. Designers rely on the acceleration caused by those forces to make a roller coaster ride both thrilling and safe. The trick is knowing how to use the forces properly. If the forces are too great in one direction, for instance, they'll throw the car off the track. If an upward force is too large (giving you a feeling of heaviness), your heart cannot pump enough blood to your head and you faint. On the other hand, the lack of supporting forces can create feelings of incredible lightness. This can provide an electrifying ride that delivers you safely to the end.Hypercoasters are about twice as tall as regular roller coasters. This larger scale adds new design challenges. Going down a 200-foot hill, a car has more time to accelerate and gains more speed. If while going at this fast speed the car experiences a sudden change in direction or speed, the car's acceleration changes. A big or sudden change in speed or direction can make a bigger acceleration. Since the force acting on the car (and you) is equal to its mass times its acceleration, the bigger the change in direction or speed and the less time that change takes, the greater the acceleration and the bigger the force you'll feel.To keep these forces at safe levels, the designer has to stretch out the time and the distance it takes to navigate the curve at the bottom of the hill. This spreads the change out over time, decreasing the force you feel. The top of the next hill has to be high enough to slow the coaster down, or stretched out to a gentler or banked curve, so the car doesn't fly off the track.Space is a problem. Coasters go forward two feet for every foot they climb. If the highest hill is 100 feet, it takes about 200 horizontal feet to get the car that high. If the highest hill is 200 feet, it takes 400 feet. Since land is expensive, the designers have to be creative about the use of space. A track shaped into a curve takes up less space than one left in a straight line.

Where does a roller coaster have the least kinetic energy?

At the tallest point on the track. Potential energy is given by U(Which is potential energy) = mass times height time gravitational constant. You can't change the gravitational constant, or the mass of the roller coaster car. So you have to change the height.

PE=mgh so more the height and the mass the more PE

What is the religious roller coaster?

The Religious Roller Coaster started at the time of which Henry VIII ruled. He started as a catholic, then became a protestant. As king, he introduced bibles in English rather than in latin, and made himself the head of the church. He did not change any services.

His only son, Edward VI, was an even stronger protestant and introduced a new prayer book. He made all church services English, allowed priests to marry and destroyed all church decoration.

Henry's daughter, Mary (of Catherine of Aragon), was strongly Catholic. She made the Pope head of church again, changed church services back to latin, priests were not allowed to marry and she had all protestants persecuted.

Henry's other daughter, Elizabeth I (of Anne Boleyn), tried to find a balance in this religious rollercoaster. To please protestants, she changed church services back to English and allowed priests to marry. To please any catholics, she titled herself 'Governer' of the church rather than 'Head' and introduced a new prayer book.

As you can see, it is called The Religious Rollercoaster because it went from Protestant, to strong Protestant, then back to strong Catholic, and then made even by Elizabeth I. Rules were changed regularly, after each of Henry VIII's children reigned. They all had different beliefs.
