Actually there is no secret! If you want to solve a rubix cube then you can do it, just learn the rubix cube solution method (I added a link). With this rubix cube solution you'll be able to solve the rubix cube shortly.

A fair cube is a die which, when rolled, has a probability of 1/6 of coming to a stop with each of the faces uppermost.

The best way to find the tricks is you just watch some of the youtube videos about solving the rubix cube. There are many excellent videos that would teach you the tricks quickly.

If you meant who "invented" the Rubik's cube then Erno Rubik did in 1974.

Advice: If you want to get good at beating the cube, I would learn the algorithms by heart. Seriously, there is no way around this. But if it's just a one time thing, you can just follow the algorithms and forget about it. Dan Brown's tutorial on YouTube is really helpful, there are only a few algorithms.

A Rubik's Cube is made up of 22 small plastic cubes called "cubies", and one turning mechanism in the middle that resembles something like a 3-d cross, with spinning squares at the end of each end of the cross. According to me, Dayan Zhanchi is better because of it's torpedoes, but they both are nearly same. For fast cubers, i prefer Dayan Zhanchi which is tensioned.

That depends on what you expect from the cube, like speed, stability etc. If you want a fast cube that is capable to cut corners very well, I'd suggest either a type AV or an F-II. Also the ShengShou and the Dayan ones are awesome. You can buy those cubes at Lightake, which is a popular and trusted speedcubing store or Amazon. Check the link below.

First you have to learn how to solve it which will take between 3-7 days. To improve your time learn better ways to solve it start with an easy method and work on from that an easy to learn method can be found on the Rubiks cube ipod app that can be purchased for free of the app store. Another way to improve your time is to get a better rubiks cube one that slides around the pieces more easier then others and to improve the slide lube it using vaseline. Just take it apart lube the pieces put it back together and use it freuquntely so the vaseline gets in all the peices. Make sure you use it after pputting the vaseline on it other wise it wil dry and will be hard to use.

On a 3x3 there are 9, 4x4 there are 16 and so on. Basically whatever number of squares on one row going across times that number.

A shape with measuring 78.4x72.8x205 is not a cube.

It's not a sport it is just a toy. Some combination of algorithms helps one to solve it easily. It helps to train your brain and makes it work faster.
