There's actually 2 decent bows, depends what you choose:
Crystal Bow - Requires: 70 Ranged + 50 Agility + Roving Elves Quest Completion
Dark Bow - Requires: 60 Ranged

-Crystal Bow-
This rather nice bow surprisingly requires absolutely no arrows but relys on charges and when all charges run out it req. 950k ( decreases to 700k, 550k, 300k, 150k over time and stays at 150k ) to recharge it, it is quite powerful but every time it degrades the bow gets weaker and looses accuracy, a slighty better choice than it's counter part Crystal Shield.
-Dark Bow-
Thos rather unique bow unlike others fires 2 arrows at a time, using normal arrows w/ special attack makes sure you hit a double 5 minimum on your target, you may get lucky and hit higher, however if it power you want, this is the bow for you, get dragon arrows w/ special attack for full on ownage, the bow of choice for minigames like castle wars, duel arena, bounty hunter, pvp, clan wars and much other pvp stuff, for a once time proce of around 800-900k odd in grand exchange works out millions more cheaper than a crystal bow but the bad side is it can be very arrow draining.

Can you play RuneScape without java?
Previously, NO. You could play runescape without Java because runescape runs of a Java platform and only a Java platform unless somehow your a really good programmer and you figure out how to make a program to run it, you would basically have to make a complete new version of your own runescape platform.
However, with the release of the RuneScape downloadable client, users without Java can now download the client and play it from there. The browser version of RuneScape still requires Java. There is no way to play Runescape without java being installed on your PC. The "Tiko" Toolkit on rs-tiko.com doesn't work without java either, the only way is to download it. if you cannot download it ask your IT administrator to download it for you.

Slayer is generally a slow skill to raise, but it can be speed up by doing any of the following:
-Have a high combat level before you start slayer, it will make all the difference, since slayer is really basically just 1 xp for every damage you do.
-Use a cannon, can do up to 30, so if you can afford it, it really makes it go a lot faster
-If you get something really strong, such as steel dragons, switch to an easy task by going to Tureal in Burthrope. That task will take only a few minutes, but it will allow you to get a new, easier task sooner. I love runescape :):) ^_^

go to wilderness lvl 9-10... there is 31 coal rocks and thts it but there are skeletons that attack by thmselves i think they are around level 20 so if you are lower u might not want to go there

How do you get to runescape god wars dungeon?
-Warning-
Players must either have 60 Strength or 60 Agility in order to gain entry, and must have also completed the Troll Stronghold quest up to the point where they defeat Dad. Lower leveled players who enter the God Wars Dungeon should turn on Protect from Melee. If not turned on, the minions can kill you within a few seconds, this should not be as much of a problem if you are 115+ combat level. Another (and more advisable) option is to bring a piece of equipment to that corresponding god, so that the minions that follow that specific god will not attack you once you enter. With the right planning of armour and weapons you can enter the God Wars Dungeon safely.
---------------------------------- -How To Get There- The God Wars Dungeon is just north of Trollheim and west to the wilderness. The dungeon can either be reached by pushing a boulder out of the way with level 60 Strength when coming from Trollheim (teleport to Trollheim then run north, climbing down the mountain), or squeezing through a crevice next to the boulder with level 60 Agility. Around the Dungeon entrance (rope required) you will be feeling the full force of the mountains' icy wind, which does 1 damage often and lowers all stats. Be careful of the Ice Wolves (level-132) close to the entrance, and on your first visit there speak to the Dying knight and then tie a rope to the rocks near the hole. The knight will give you a letter, if you bring it to Sir Tiffy Cashien you will be able to attain sword shards from the boss-monsters. Once you climb down into the dungeon your special attack energy and running energy will drain to zero. Note: Inside the dungeon the winds no longer reduce any stats. if u go in be careful there are alot of high lv's there even is a lv 528 in the thing that is really hard 2 kill so becareful and good luck oh yea its in lv 42 wildy and its next to the ice warriors and ice giants...................................

... That is completely wrong, In order to get ANY of the God Staff's (Saradomin,Guthix,Zamorak) you need to compliete the (Members only) Mage-Arena mini quest. The staff's are non tradeble and are 80k each at the Mage-Arena. hi, I lost my saradomin staff cuz i died and i talked to gurdian but i dont know what to say to get it back he asks but theres no thing to say yes. HELP PLEASE????????
