The shortbow is the WAY TO GO. It shoots a lot faster. Any and all ways of training range are slower. Trust me, I'm 99 range on my Nateparty123 account. Shortbow = best but the dark bow is better for pking.

I think you are mistaking the orange color for brown. The orange do really look like brown on normal capes. Anyways, mix red dye with yellow dye for orange dye. When you use the orange dye on a normal cape, you will get your " brown" cape.

In runescape im a noob but what does the multiway combat sign mean?
It means you can get attack by a number of npc's or players depending where you are....
The sign is at the bottom with two swords in the right hand corner... That's all for now...
It means that 2 or more people can fight or attempt to fight the same creature.
What is the best NPC to attack on RuneScape to get Combat Level 60?
I attacked moss giants in the Varrock sewers until I got to level 60 attack. They have good drops, especially for members. Also, attack red spiders in the Varrock sewers or Hill Giants in the building next to Barbarian Village. Completing quests also give you experience in some areas.

There are 3 places that I know of where you can kill dogs.
1. McGrubber's wood north west of Seer's Village.
2. The mansion east of Ardougne Square
3. Wild Dogs in Brimhaven Dungeon (Requires 675gp to enter)
Note that the dogs in number 1 and 2 and lvl 44 and in Brimhaven Dungeon they are lvl 63

if you are doing slayer and are a low level the best dog to kill is the jackal in the desert(south west of of nardah and pollivenich note these are the lowest level dogs that count for slayer at level 21 but u need waterskins otherwise you will die :/

Checklist!
Iron Set (Iron platelegs, Iron platebody, Iron Full Helm or Bearhead.
Food, I would suggest a cheap food such as Salmon. Since you won't need much. But if you are already a member I wuold suggest buying I'd say 1000-2000 Tuna's (Explained later in the Guide)
Weapon; "Obby Mauler" = Tzhaar-Ket-Om (Obbsidian Maul) Attack pures (20attack+) = Buy a Mithril Scimitar, Adamant Scimtiar, Rune Scimitar OR Brine Sabre (2+ Better) Dragon Scimitar OR/AND Dragon Longsword, Dragon Dagger (Up to you there)
Tzhaar-Ket-Om and Berserker Necklace (If you can afford) I would suggest at 60 strength if you are a 1attack pure getting 33 magic for "Tele Grabbing" The old Wine of Zamorak or running around for White Berries (You would be better "Tele Grabbing" from a distance saving important money and just south where you see the white berries (You will run past it) there is a Cave you can enter teleport to Wilderness Volcano to bank.
The Training! Yay!
1-10 I would suggest Chickens as they drop Chicken and Feathers I would collect the feathers and a full inventory of chicken. Don't bank when you are full just carry on collecting feathers. OR get a friend to buy the chicken off you ~ Which would be nice!
10-30 I would go to Cows across from the Chickens in Lumbridge they are more places, Port Sarim, Opposite the Dark Wizards in Varrock. OR Goblins just past Lumbridge bridge. 1-30 Is both member's and non-members as there is no members NPC to train on that low, I think.
30-60 Any boy or girl reading this guide wanting to be a "Obby Mauler" read this!
Wield your Ruby Tipped Machete as shown on the check list and go to the Monk's if you are requiring 31 prayer for Super Str (15% str bonus) then I would recommend picking the bones up and they already heal you so no food is required. (A good point about those)
AP'S 60-99 Rock Crabs or Bandits (they are good with a God Item on they will automattically attack you.) WARNING ~ YOU NEED 43 PRAYER Or they will Hurt you I suggest taking 1water skin and 3sharks or better and 24 prayer potions, also have a few banked I'd say you need 1000 to 99 (You can switch around beetween Rock Crabs and Bandits) This is the same for 1attack pures (except from don't go bandits)

What is the fastest and most efficient way to train range in runescape using weapon?
runescape training involves hitting any monster with magic, ranged, and melee the more advanced bows only work with certain arrows and you need a higher level at level 30 you can get a oak bow i believe or is it a willow no matter the more more advanced the arrow is the more advanced your bow has to be the more you inflict high damage the more xp you get in range.
~Angelsblade0 says,~ the fastest, and most efficiant ways are two diffrent ways. the fastest way is to go to chaos tunnes mummies', or apetoll zombie monkies with chins, range/pray pots, and the best range armour u can get(full void or arma wuld be recomended). the most effeciant way to train range is training while doing slayer assingments as your leveling two skills at once.
