Theres very few way to make money on non members.

Do you have to be a member in RuneScape to get a skillcape?
no you dont. to get a skillcape all you have to do is get your skill lvls like (wood cutting, mining and etc.) and get them to lvl 99. then you get an individual skill cape for each thing, like woodcutting. hope this helped.
Wrong they are members only and you have to buy them for 99k which is a bit unfair though. And the skill dungeonearing can get up to 120 in lvl hope my answer helped.

How do you craft rings in RuneScape?
To craft a ring in Runescape you need a ring mold, gold ore or gold bar, the required level to make rings, and if you are making a ring with a Gem in it you need that certain Gem. 1. If you have Gold Ore you need to use it on a furnace to make into Gold bar 2. Once you have gold bar you need to have ring mold in your inventory along with gold bar and gem if you are making a ring with a gem. 3. use the gold bar on a furnace and it will put up a interface where it ask what you want to make 4. click on the ring you want and you will have it :)

It is at bunches of places. Like the Al Kharid mining spot, or the Varrock West-bank basement (telekinetic grab only!).

What are the different chat effects on RuneScape?
to do effects on runescape simply type one of the following for example type wave: hi. then your hi will wave around above you. you can also do two effects at the same time for example wave:blue:

Basic colours
- Red - Red colours the entered text red.
- Purple - Purple colours the entered text purple.
- Green - Green colours the entered text lime. Lime is a shade of green which is brighter and lighter than regular green.
- Cyan* - Cyan colours the entered text cyan. Cyan is a shade of light blue similar to aqua. Note that "Blue:" will not work.
- Yellow* - If "Yellow:Text" is entered, the text will appear as if the player hadn't used a text colour, as the default text colour is yellow. The "Yellow:" will be automatically removed.
- White* - White colours the entered text white.
* Note that background colours were added to make light-coloured text easily visible, and will not appear in-game.
Multiple colours- Flash1 - Flash1 causes the text to flash rapidly between red and yellow eight times.
- Flash2 - Flash2 causes the text to flash rapidly between cyan with black shading and blue with black shading eight times.
- Flash3 - Flash3 causes the text to flash rapidly between regular green with black shading and a shade of light, pale green with black shading eight times.
- Glow1 - Glow1 causes the text colour to fade slowly from red to orange to yellow to green to cyan.
- Glow2 - Glow2 causes the text colour to fade slowly from red to pink to purple to blue to purple to pink to red.
- Glow3 - Glow3 causes the text colour to fade slowly from white to light green to green to light green to white to cyan.
Animations
- Wave - Wave moves the text in a wave motion as if the wave is coming from the left.
- Wave2 - Wave2 moves the text in a wave motion as if the wave is coming from the left also, but unlike Wave, Wave2 moves the text slightly more horizontally, as opposed to more vertically like wave.
- Scroll - Scroll moves the text from right to left across the screen. No matter how much text is typed, the text will appear for the same amount of time, so if more text is typed, the text will move faster. Is often used for advertising for "shops", or for telling a list of items the player is selling.
- Slide - Slide slides the text downwards from out-of-sight to appear in the normal position in which text appears. It is also used a lot for advertising.
- Shake - Shake moves the text for a second in a wave motion, then stops and flattens out and stands as normal for a second.
- There is a chat effect that's a bit complicated. First, you do wave2: then alt0151 ten times, then a letter. repeat this until you have all the letters you want.

Do you know Some good clan chat's on runescape to go too?
yes, there are several good clan chats to go too, and some to avoid...some of the good ones include a new one i have heard about called "chat point" and there are some other's such as the 1 letter clan chat names like "h" or "k", i would probably go to h or k because these usually have people in them and also these players still play so there will usually be some ranked people in these clan chat's so that there are no spammers in there and you can enjoy you'r time in them. i would generally try to avoid clan's like runescape because these sometimes have spammers and advertisers....hope this helps ;)
I'll watch out for the clan 'runescape' then. But if your looking for a good clan wars clan, here are some:
1) simber33 - all levels
2)Robert Seah or Viva la Elf for 80+ clans
3) Holy Invoker is a popular clan and all levels
4) PinkPixie155 (my own one) - all levels, quite a small clan

Yes, there are many ways to get membership on RuneScape. The only problem, is that there are many problems... The advertisements for sites that say you can get free membership is a complete scam. Also, trying to hack RuneScape or actually getting caught using membership for free will result in banning. It is still fun to pay AND play with a membership. I use my own money and it's worth it. It is your choice though...

The best way is crafting natures.
Also go north of Falador and find the temple of Zamarock. Get the wine. But you need law and air runes. And watch out for the monks. You can get about 2k each as of 7/2/2012. You get about 56k per full inventory.
