Yes there are large numbers of Samoan athletes in professional sports, but that does not mean that there are NOT a large number who are academics. Saying that sports is the only way to get into college is abit of a presumption seeing Samoans do not only live in the U.S...AND there are HUGE numbers of Samoans who are in college/university simply on their own educational merit.
