If you don't have the owners manual buy the Haynes repair manual for the vehicle in question.

Saturn is a good car except for seat belts are designed improperly. They can choke you, if you don't adjust them.

A radiator does not require a gasket so this may refer to a rubber mounting that prevents the radiator from jolts and damage.

With mine, it tends to be a signal that it is low on oil. Check your fluids and top off any that are low and see if that helps. --------------------------------------------- Check your tensioner and pulley

Siphon it out. This literally just happened to me. The automatic cutoff did not stop it, and it got gas all over the side of my car, on my pants, and on my shoes. Is yours having cutoff problems too?

Well, I'm confused. Are you asking about the cooling system overflow tank, or the fuel tank? FWIW, the auto cutoff is integral to the pump, not the car.

The Saturn Corporation is not in business. That company was part of the G.M. portfolio and was let go in bankruptcy. The birth place of the Saturn was Spring Hill Tenn. it has not produced a Saturn since 2007. The plant is still open but only employees about 900 people. The shock absorbers of a Saturn usually cost about $120 each. Typically, a car owner is supposed to change two or four shocks at one go.

Oil in the coolant tank indicates a head gasket leak.

Remove the right lower center console trim panel it should have a big fuse image stamped on it.

There is no simple switch that you can turn or a wire that you can plug in that will magically repair your horn, and as such there is no simple instruction for repairing the horn.

However, you should be able to do a little troubleshooting to see if you can identify the problem.

Use a volt meter to see if voltage is present at the horn when the horn button is pressed. That generally requires two people, so request the assistance of a friend for that step.

If no voltage is present at the horn, open the fuse box under the hood and locate the horn fuse and relay. Visually inspect the fuse and replace it if it has failed.

Again, have your friend press the horn button while you listen to the relay. There should be a faint click from the horn relay. If not, try trading relays with something else. There should be more than one relay with the same product number, pick an identical relay. Remember where you borrowed the relay so you can put it back; no point in making something ELSE go bad. If the relay is bad, buy a new one at the local auto parts retailer.

If you still aren't getting anything from the relay, you probably have a problem inside the steering column. If that's the case, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR IT YOURSELF. The airbag is sensitive and can cause serious injury if you do not handle it properly. If you suspect that there are problems inside the steering column, take the vehicle to a qualified mechanic.

It's all about maintenance. If the fluids have been properly maintained, hoses, belts and other components replaced when there is a problem and the vehicle has been driven properly, the engine should last several hundred thousand miles.

If not, all bets are off.

If you are quick and neat enough about it where you don't drain the whole reservoir, then no. You only need to bleed that line. A trick for bleeding by yourself once your done is to make sure the reservoir is full and the cap is off (don't push the pedal) and open the bleeder on the caliper. Let it gravity bleed drop by drop until no air is present. Top off fluid and check the pedal (with the cap back on)

I just had my 95 sc2 fixed with the same problem. It was the EGR valve and the solenoid (the one behind and below the engine). Other problems that may have been part of the same code was the computer which shorted out because of fuel injectors which went un replaced for too long.

If a vehicle smells like gas there is typically a fuel leak somewhere. In a few instances it COULD also indicate that the engine is running "rich", meaning that the engine is receiving more fuel than it can burn.

The hissing is part of the operation of the air conditioner. Remember back to your basic physics and chemistry classes; we were all taught about "Boyles law", where a gas will raise in temperature as it is compressed.

Your AC compresses the refrigerant, and it gets hot. The compressed refrigerant is routed through a "condenser coil" (basically just a specialized radiator) and cooled to the outside temperature.

Then the still compressed but now considerably less hot refrigerant is allowed to expand; that's when it gets cold. As the refrigerant expands it "hisses", just like air leaking out of an air compressor hose; but in this case it's all controlled and the refrigerant is still contained in the refrigeration system. The now cold refrigerant passes through ANOTHER specialized radiator called an expansion coil and air is blown across the outside of the coil.

That answers the hissing part of your question.

The "white smoke", isn't actually smoke; it's water vapor.

Your expansion coils get quite cold, and any moisture in the air will start to condense as the air crosses the cold expansion coils. Some of the condensate (water) drips harmlessly out the bottom housing of the expansion coil, through a tube that's designed to route the dripping water to the outside of your vehicle.

SOMETIMES the water will start to form visible water vapor, much like clouds in the sky. That should answer the other part of your question.

The timing in a Saturn is not adjustable. The ignition timing is computer controlled by the Ignition control module located underneith your coil packs. if there is an issue with engine valve timing, you must replace all timing components, ie... timing cam gears, crank gear, hydralic tentioner and guides.

You may have more than one problem.First I would try to start the car while holding the gas pedal all the way to the floor.It may take several try's to get it to start.You may need to see if it has spark.

If you actuate them continuously for long periods of time, or if there's a short to power in the circuit, it could happen.
