How do you know who made the gun for sears?
The first three numbers Sears code identifies the maker. Insome cases Sears actually was in fact the maker For instance any gun marked 583 means house brand exclusive Sears product .583 (High Standard Manufacturing )High Standard Was owned by Sears & Roebuck 1947 to 1963 . All shotguns 22 rifles and revolvers marked 583 were the licensed property of Sears not High Standard.High Standard made no shotguns or rifles except for Sears .Next Vendor codes 103 =Marlin firearms 101= Savage arms corp105 =H&R In the case of vendors They pretty much sold there regular product with Sears name on it with what ever changes that Sears wanted, usually to give a Sears Identity or meet a price point.
Numbers 273 a lot of the time was the Winchester mark

Harrington & Richardson was one of the "old line" gun companies that started in the latter 1800's. Unfortunately they went out of business in 1986.
The model 622 is a 6-shot, solid frame, .22 revolver of middle-range quality. It is sometimes is called a "pull-pin," because to eject the fired cases or unload loaded cartridges you have to pull out the center pin, remove the cylinder, and then use the pin to push out the cases and/or cartridges. All of this is simple, but unhandy.
It was made from 1957 through 1985, but similar models go back to the 19th century. It was obviously a popular design, primarily because they cost far less then others.
Where can you find a firing pin for JC Higgins 583.17?
Did you try the web site for GunPartsCorp? I've purchased parts from them over the years. The older the firearm, the less chance they have the part. BUT... It's worth a try!!
How can you find age or year of manufacture for jchiggins model 42 bolt action 22 rifle?
The J C Higgins model 41 /103 19770 Was made by Marlin Firearms.1959 .103 is the Sears vendor code for Marlin .The model 41 is the same as the the Marlin Glenfield model 10. These are very nice little rifles that are well known for accuracy.
The "Savage/ Stevens" model 311, 12 gauge uses 2 3/4" shells. Just make sure that you do not use a hard shoot (steel, tungsten, etc.) in it or any of the new high pressure shells in it.
How do you remove the bolt from a Mod 2T Mod No 273 27530?
You make sure the gun is unloaded. Open the bolt. When the bolt stops, look at the lower left of the bolt and you will see a small lever next to the extractor. With a small screwdriver, press the small lever down and at the same time pull back on the bolt, The bolt will slide right out.

Value of 45cal black powder Kentucky rifle sears and roebuck?
Ultra-Hi built most of the sears guns, with Sile and Miroku taking up the rest. The best way to determine actual value is to search the on-line auctions, such aswww.gunbroker.com and www.auctionarms.com or even www.proxibid.com enter your details in the search and see what has SOLD and for how much. if there is nothing current try the archives of past sales or items sold. Another place to look is The blue book of modern black powder values available from www.midwayusa.com Don't forget condition has allot to do with value, so compare apples to apples.
What is an Eastern Arms Co 101 1 12 gauge shotgun worth and what years was this manufactured?
50-100 or so; no published history
Both Crosman and Daisy made air rifles for Sears under the JC Higgins name. My catalog list the model 126.2831 as a Crosman model 180. I believe your model 126.2830 is also a Crosman model 180. The 180 has almost no forearm, a long barrel. It's a single shot .22 Caliber bolt action and is driven by a C02 cylinder. It was made between 1956-59 and again from 1960-66 with some slight changes.
If you want an estimate of value please give a current description of the condition it's in. Is it in Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good, or Excellent condition.
