What choke tubes will fit a Spartan SP-310 OU by Remington?
The Spartan is manufactured for Remington in russia. I believe the company that makes them is Baikal. You'll probably have to order the choke tubes. Standard Rem-chokes won't work. Cabela's sells the choke tubes for the Remington Spartan Side-by-Side, also made by Baikal in Russia.

When and where were Hamilton shotguns made?
Answer This answer was borrowed from a thread on the GunBroker.com website. The answer was posted by a gentleman who is a collector of old shotguns. I do not claim authorship nor authoritative knowledge.
There were two "WH Hamilton" shotguns. From c.1875-1883 or so, the shotguns were imported from Belgium. They were external hammer shotguns of average quality for the time. In the early 1900s, Thomas Leary was an active importer of these guns, now made by Dumoulin with the WH Hamilton tradename. They were similar to the earlier ones, but with some engraving on the locks.
The WH Hamilton tradename was finished when Leary closed up in 1904. Dumoulin may have continued until the 1930s.
As you read so often in posts regarding these old guns, it is absolutely NOT safe to shoot with any type of modern ammunition.

How can you find the value of a Winchester Model 94 from the serial number?
Valuing a Model 94 is similar to pricing used (or antique) cars. A five year old Chevy with only a few hundred miles on it will sell closer to the price of a new one than one with 100,000 miles even if both still look nearly new. And chosing between two 100K cars, the one that was garaged and had regular maintenance will bring much more than one with fading paint, torn seat covers, oil leaks, and crumpled fenders. With the serial number there are several sources to find out what year a Winchester was manufactured, but that is only the beginning of determining its value. Any firearm made before Midnight, 31 December 1898, is legally an antique in the US and that usually increases the value significantly. Winchesters made before 1964 are valued by collectors if they have a high percentage of original finish while newer ones and those with significant wear are valued for their usefulness. There are several general configurations of the 94: standard rifle, carbine, saddle-ring carbine, trapper carbine, etc., with round or octagonal barrels. Then there are special order features like non-standard barrel lengths or special sights. The 94 was chambered for a variety of cartridges and collectors will pay more for unusual ones but often less for obsolete chamberings for which ammunition is no longer available. Of course a shooter will have absolutely NO interest in a gun chambered for something like .44 rimfire as it would essentially be unusable. A collector will want a gun that has not been modified since it left the factory, and for a fee the Cody Museum will research the old records and give a letter stating the exact original configuration, when it was manufactured, and sometimes when and where it was shipped from the factory. Someone who wants to use the gun will be less concerned about its originality and any difference may be a plus for one and a minus to another. The primary concern to either a collector or a shooter will be the CONDITION. Any buyer will want the gun to be as close to new condition as possible.

What is the date of manufacture for a Nylon 66 ser A2195690?
Actually, the key to manufacture date on your Remington Nylon 66 is not the serial number, but a stamping on the barrel. There will be two letters, the first being the month, and the second being the year. Here's a quick rundown. B=Jan L=Feb A=Mar C=Apr K=May P=Jun O=Jul W=Aug D=Sep E=Oct R=Nov X=Dec As you will note, this forms the acronym BLACKPOWDERX, which is easy to remember. The year codes are E-1958,F-1959,G-1960,H-1961,J-1962,K-1963,L-1964,M-1965,N-1966,P-1967,R-1968, S-1969,T-1970,U-1971,W-1972,X-1973,Y-1974,Z-1975,O-1977,Q-1978,V-1979,A-1980,B-1981,C-1982,D-1983, E-1984,F-1985,G-1986,H-1987,I-1988,J-1989,K-1990. Note that there are duplicates. Early guns had no serial number. Mid-production guns had no-prefix serial numbers. Later production guns had A-prefix serial numbers. Light or partial stampings can be confusing. View carefully with a magnifier. The two letters are right in front of the rear sight along the barrel on the left side of the barrel. What year was the Mossberg Model 5500 16 gauge shotgun made?
Mossberg added the M-5500 model to their line in 1983. However, it was quickly taken off the market and was completely out of production by 1986. Supposedly it was a variant of Mossberg's M-500. The 5500 was designed for sporting and was relatively small (not suitable for combat). Mossberg later came out with a stockless version for self defense and for use in law enforcement called the Cruiser and a military combat model known as the Guardian. It is important to note that Mossberg's 5500 was a 12 gauge, not a 16 gauge shotgun.
