The question makes no sense as asked. The two firearms mentioned have different characteristics and capabilities and are ideally suited to different tasks. It is better to identify the task of the firearm (will it be for hunting birds or bunnies) and then identify the better tool for the task. If the intended game is deer, a .22 is unsuitable. If bunny, then either will suffice although a .22 may be better.

Value of any gun is based on exact make, model and condition- without all 3, we can't even get in the ballpark for an answer. The Baker Gun company made a side by side under the Leader name, but values vary depending on damascus or steel barrels. Sorry, but you need to visit a gun shop or gun show for a hands-on appraisal of your sshotgun. Please note- EARLY 16 g guns did NOT fire the 2 3/4 inch shells in use today, and are dangerous if they are fired. EVEN IF AN UNFIRED SHELL FITS.

It depends on the grade they made many different grades. Look on the inside of breach or bottom of barell and it will be stamped with a letter such as F (field) grade etc erc

They started making .410s about as soon as the .410 shell was created- around 1900- and still continue.

I can say that the Stevens model 67 was discontinued in the year 1989.

The Mossberg models G-4,70,73,and 73B were made from 1932-1940.Your model 70 shotgun was made from 1932-1933.

Without seeing it, I would guess that the antique value is nonexistant. The name "Danial Boone" is unrelated to the American frontiersman and is only there to sell the shotgun. It is possible that the gun is American manufacture (Crescent City made thousands of inexpensive shotguns with every name brand you could imagine) or it could be a Spanish or Belgian shotgun. In any case, it is not a Purdy or Winchester or other brand which would command "antique" value. If the gun functions, it would be considered a field piece and could be worth a few hundred dollars. If it is worn out, it is a wall hanger and would not be worth the cost of restoration.

You will have to contact Savage directly for the answer to your question.I beleive that the serial numbers to the Stevens model 311 side by side shotgun are not in the public domain.I can say that the model 311 was discontinued in the year 1989.

Same as the federal law. Barrel length must be a minimum of 18 inches, and the total overall length must be 26 inches minimum. Anything less than that, and you must first obtain an NFA Class II permit.
