Crown Grade labeled 500's have higher quality (grade) wood used for their stock/forend. Mine also has a gold trigger and chromed bolt. I cannot say if those are a standard feature, or vary depending on year made or batch produced, with any certainty. You would have to inspect yours to verify. Not a lot of information out there on them, and last I checked Mossberg's website doesn't mention any specifics either. Hope this helps a bit, I'll edit when/if I find more information on them.

You could have a shotgun manufactured by Crescent City Arms. This company manufactured thousands of inexpensive shotguns from the late 19th century through around the 1930's. They would mark the shotguns in any manner that the customer wanted including names of hardware stores and any sexy name that would sell. Exact identification would be time consuming and likely not worth it.

Your western auto model 330B 410 gauge bolt action shotgun was made by Mossberg.The Mossberg model 183T and your shotgun are one and the same.Contact Mossberg and sons directly and see if they have a manual available.If not you may want to check the internet,gun shows,etc.to see if one is available.The model 183 series of shotguns were made by Mossberg from 1948-1985.
