Deutsche werke shotguns 9mm single shot?
That little shotgun was made by Deutsche Werke, a German company that had operations in Kiel, Berlin, and Erfurt. The Erfurt plant made the shotgun and a youth
22 rifle with the same loading and firing mechanism. They were more famous for making the Ortgies pocket pistol, a semi-automatic in various calibers. These arms were made from 1919 until some time in the 1930s. The pistols can be found regularly on the online auctions, and the 22 rifles less often. The shotguns are even rarer, but not of great value. I saw two offered online in the past couple of years, and the price was around $250 - $450.

Is there any benefit to roller burnishing the bore of a shotgun barrel?
Hello, The roller burnishing process controls the size of the bore to a very close tolerance and it gives a superior surface finish. This process can be carried out after reaming or fine boring of the hole. Both Through bore and Step bore can be roller burnished. Apart from size control and surface finish the skin hardness of the job increases based on the material grade and applied pressure. How much is a 12 bore shotgun side-by-side shotgun?
Depends on condition, make, model. I think you mean 12gauge, not 12 bore. Some have a good resale value if it has exposed hammers, the condition of the bore. General value $100.00
They can run 1$00 for old junk to $100,000 for English high grade engraved case works of art.
How much is a 410 bore single barrel shotgun?
It depends on make, model, condition, age, but general value, about $70.00
I believe you are referring to a .410 (pronounced four ten) shotgun. This is a shotgun chambered in .410 caliber, which is different from other shotguns that are measured in gauge.
It is possible to fire a shotgun without a choke, but it is highly not reccomended, and they don't cost that much
If you select a barrel with no choke (cylinder) it will cause the pattern to be looser than for a barrel of a shotgun that has a tighter choke. The extreme is "full choke" which keeps a tight pattern out to the effective range. Full choke is typically used for waterfowl.
A shotgun that is pressed into double duty (shot for small game and slugs for big game) would work well to have modified choke. Slugs have to be designed to fire through a full choke without blowing the barrel but you will certainly shorten the life of the barrel by firing slugs through a choked barrel. If you can afford an extra barrel, then use a cylinder (no choke) for slugs.
Remington and other shotgun manufacturers have interchangeable choke tubes (see link) that allow you to screw in the appropriate choke for your quarry.
What is dr eq in shotgun shells?
dr eq = drams equivalent. Black powder used to be measured in drams, which was a measure of the volume of black powder used in a load (basically the amount used). When smokeless powder came along later, both smokeless powder and black powder existed at the same time for a while. A smaller amount of smokeless powder was equal in power to a larger amount of black powder. To keep things simple shells using smokeless powder were referenced to how many drams of black powder would be needed to produce similar results. This continued into modern times. A shell marked 3 1/4 dr eq is roughly equal to a black powder load of 3 1/4 drams. This allows an idea of how much power a shell has regardless of the actual amount of powder that is inside the shell.
What is the value of a Mossberg 410 Model 183D B?
I just left the national gun show in Louisville and looked at a very clean one tagged for 100. There were several, but this was the cleanest one I found. Last year during the election hype, they brought 120-150, but have settled back down. Mossberg bolts are good shooters, but they will not keep the $ as much as Double Barrels. Stevens dbl barrels are going for 600-800, and the rest are safe keepers in the 3000+ range.
If you are interested in selling yours, I would be interested in looking at pics and shooting you a price, depending on where you live.
