Does sig p220R and p229R use the same holsters?
It depends on the holster. Some holsters are marked for the 229 and 226, and some holsters that work for the 226 work for the 220. Some holsters are molded specifically for one one model and won't work, or won't work well for other models.
How long will sig P-229 magazine clips last while fully loaded?
Compressed springs will lose some of their strength over long periods of time. I have fired M1911A1 magazines that were left loaded for decades with no problems and with problems. There is no way to know for sure

German manufactured SIG-Sauers typically come with three proof marks. The first is an ornamental crown with an N beneath it to indicate it was proofed with smokeless (nitrocellulose) powder. The second looks like a "squished 8-legged 2-pincered bug". This is the proof mark for the Kiel, Germany proofhouse. Lastly, the proof house adds a two letter code to indicate the year the gun was proofed. The table above shows the letter to digit mapping. For example: Gunnutz13 P226 stamped JJ was proofed in 1988.[/b]
