TORS mean Throttle Override System. This is also referred to as TSS ( Throttle Safety System ). This monitors where your throttle is at, compared to your carburetor. Depends on the state you like in. Most states do not have a licenses for a snowmobile. 12 years old is consider by most to be old enough to drive in a supervised environment. Snowmobile safety classes are offered by some states as well most starting at the age of 12.

the 1987 artic cat jag has a oil tank under the hood that you put 2 cycle oil in. then when the sled is running it injects its oil into the gas . that is if everything is still stock and original

Michigan Snowmobile Speed limits are (1) Safe and Reasonable, (2) as posted on any road, (3) just fast enough to maintain forward motion when within 100 feet of any building or fisherman.

It could be many things. First thing I would do is get your carbs removed and clean them up. Next, I would clean your powervalve/exhaust valve ( if your model has them ). If still not doing any better, check your compression. If all cylinders above 110psi, clean your clutches.

it all depends what kind your looking for if i wanted speed i would take a thundercat 1000. if i wanted trail I would take a ski doo formula z. if i wanted a mountain sle di would get a polaris dragon. but it is all about what brands you like and what you need.

If you are using electric start then check the battery. If you can't pull it over try turning the drive clutch by hand. If you can't do this then the motor is most likely seized.

Base line for any machine is 32:1. If it seems your running rich, use a little less oil, and vice versa for running lean.
