Runs batted in is not an average. RBI is a tally of all the runs that a player scored by batting them in. The only averages are on base percentage, batting average, slugging percentage, and fielding percentage.

Jennie has accomplished everything you can in softball. She has a four-year-old son, Ace, and her husband, Casey Daigle, is a pitcher with the Houston Astros. She's retiring from playing to have more time with her son and husband. With her playing and personal appearance requirements, it has made family-time difficult... which is important to her.

Another factor that probably played into it is that softball is no longer an Olympic sport, so the motivation of playing another couple of years so that she could play in another Olympics was not there. I'm sure she will continue to be an ambassador for the sport and she probably has sponsorship deals that will continue as well.

It's an offensive option of putting the ball in play. The bunt is done by standing squarely toward the pitcher holding the barrel along with the handle parallel to the ground. The batter just taps the ball with an objective of just putting the ball just in front of her.

There is no physical, logical explanation of the real game of softball, that's why we have this game of softball.

you lead off only as far as you can with enough time to dive back to the base in the event the ball is caught. if the ball is caught you return to the base if it is dropped you run to third and possibly home. always be aware of your base coach when approaching third they should tell you to go home or not

you could go to one of her games and she usually signs things afterwards. also you could go to her pitching camp.

They are looking for hustle and effort. They do not want to see you striking out and waking back to the dugout. They want to see you run to first as hard as you can, even though you are out. they want you to talk to your players, let them know how many outs and where the play is at, etc. They want to see determination, moreso than skill. But a common knowledge of the game is expected.

The team listed 2nd on the schedule is the home team which takes the field first while the other team bats. But if no team is "home" then a coin is flipped by the umps at home plate.

If it is the fielder that overthrows the ball it is an error on the fielder. If the pitcher overthrows the ball while pitching it is a wild pitch.

You run up to it. Ground&field it. Then throw it to first base, or whatever base you need to get the out.

Fielding out front, throwing over hand, hiting (you don't have to do it well you just have to have the right stance) there are more complected things also but you have to be able to do these things first and you have to be able to act in a game situation.
