What does sperm contain?

Seminal fluid, prostaglandins, spermatozoa, and fibrinogen.

Does a sperm whale have 40 gallons of semen every time it ejaculates?

No. A southern right whale can only produce 5 gallons of sperm.

It would have to have balls half/more than half its size to even do half of the number you're speaking of.

Is The Sperm Whale Really A Whale?

Now, Like With The Orca Having The Incorrect Name "Killer Whale", Do Not Be Fooled With The Name And Size, PLEASE!

It Is NOT A True Whale, It Is More Related To Dolphins And Porpoises.

1. Sperm Whales Are Not True Whales Because They Have True Teeth And NOT Baleen.

2. Sperm Whales Do NOT Eat Krill Or Shrimps, They Mainly Eat Squid And Fish, They Might Even Eat Sharks.

3. Sperm Whales Have A Head Nothing Like A Baleen Whale And It Cannot Fit Baleen Into It's Mouth.

4. Sperm Whales Are Normally 15 Meters For Females And 18 Meters For Males, Most Baleen Whales Are Larger Than That.

That's All I Have To Say Now.

Can a killer whale super pod win against a bull sperm whale?

Depends on how many orcas were in the pod. If there were 5-7 and they were up against a huge 60 foot bull sperm, I would bet my money on the bull sperm. They have huge teeth almost the size of t-rex teeth and use them exclusively for fighting. The bulls can also use their huge heads as battering rams. They have massive tail flukes. I can imagine that a headbutt or a tail slap could potentially knock out an orca and it would be very dangerous for a group of the mentioned size to go head to head against a bull sperm. That being said, i think that a group of 10+ orca's could probably get the job done. We should never underestimate the "wolves of the sea". Their teamwork, smarts and cunning is truly impressive and they are the oceans apex predators. They would also be much faster and more agile than the whale in every way. However, I think that it would be extremely rare for a pod of orca's to take on a bull sperm... cows and calves are more vulnerable and bull sperms are just too dangerous. No matter how many orca there are. I would bet a few of them would get killed in the attempt to take down the bull.

They can become incredibly aggressive when threatened. Their massive head act as the perfect battering rams, and their huge tail flukes can decimate a pod of orcas. Hence orcas rarely engage combat with large bulls sperm whales, as there are plenty of other fish in the sea: ie lower risk, higher reward prey items around

Do people eat sperm whales?

No. Though sperm whales are the most common type of whale that inhabits almost every ocean in the world, they are endangered because of hunting. Humans have been hunting Sperm Whales for nearly two centuries and have wiped out huge populations of this giant animal. They are hunted for their blubber and sperm oil.
