How long are the wolf spiders legs?
A spider is an araneae, an order of arachnid. There are many thousand different kinds of spiders. All spiders have eight legs. Most spiders have eight eyes but some have fewer than eight. They don't have ears, they feel the sound vibrations with tiny hairs on their legs. Their bodies have two parts, the head and the abdomen. The abdomen is plump. Spider blood is light blue. Blood fills up all the empty space in the spider's body, it helps to keep the legs stiff so the spider can walk. Spiders breathe, too. As spiders grow, they molt. That means they shed their old skin and grow a new one. They molt many times before they become adults. Many spiders live for only one year but some, like tarantulas can live much longer. Spiders come in different sizes. Some are fuzzy and others are smooth, and they come in many different colors. Spiders live in many different kinds of places, water, gardens, houses, and the ground. How do you know if a spider is hungry?
My grasshopper, Buddy, is almost always hungry. However, to tell if a wild grasshopper is hungry or not, find a small leafy plant, preferably with the stem intact, and place the leaf close to it's mouth. If it starts chewing on the leaf it MIGHT be hungry. Let it go an if it continues munching on the leaf, it's hungry. To see is a tame grasshopper is hungry, I place lettuce by its mouth and again, if it starts chewing, let go of it till it walks or jumps away.
Other than that, there is no easy way to tell.
What happens if you run into a spider web?
The spiders web is so heavy that it slowly droops to the ground and is then destroyed.
Earthworms tunnel through the ground by swallowing dirt and passing it through their bodies. In that dirt, the worm gets nutrients from decomposing vegetation, like rotting leaves and other organic material. The worms digestion of this material as it pases through him/her helps break down the leaves and organic material further, helping soil to become fertile, mixed and "nutritious" for plants to grow, the tunnels also irrigate the soil and allow air to be mixed in (oxygen also helps old leaves and dead plants to decompose). Because of worms, when rain falls, fresh water can sink into the earth more easily to reach plant roots and the water table more easily, instead of just rolling down hill and eroding (taking nutrients and soil away) the land. Worms are really cool. Then as the earthworm has digested the dirt and taken the nutrients out of the dirt it poops out the dirt making new dirt that is fertilized and is ready to be dirt.

The female spider is hungry; and since the male spider is nearby and he's probably weaker than the female, she eats him. Also if she kills the male spider, he won't eat her eggs when he gets hungry.

A bit tangled that, but I wonder if it is normal behaviour. For most web-spinning spider species, the females make and stay in the webs while the males roam around looking for food and mates. He visits a female in her web solely to mate, and may end up being eaten afterwards or might in fact simply die anyway (mating then dying is quite common among invertebrates). If he is eaten it's because he's there and a hearty meal necessary for making all those eggs.
Every different species of beetle eats different things. Most beetles that live on leaves also feed on them. Some species, such as weevils, only eat very specific plants. Most beetles that feed on leaves will eat just about any plant. Many beetles are predatory, which means they prey on smaller animals. They generally eat any small insect, spider, bird or crustacean that they can find. A few species only prey on very specific animals. A few species of beetles eat poo, dead animals and fungi.
