Stamps that are not used are referred to as 'mint' stamps. The actual value will depend on the condition and the specific stamp. Consult a catalog to determine the value of any stamps you have.

It will depend greatly on what the definition of 'misprinted' is. A slight shift in the printing process is interesting, but doesn't mean much in the matter of value. It may not be of enough interest and could pretty much make it of no value at all.

It greately depends on the date of issue. Modern issues (last few decades or so) have values between 10 cents and a few dollars, wheras stamps issued before the WW II can have values up to several hundred dollars. The first romanian stamp issued in 1858 sell on ebay for at least 1000 USD.

No such stamp was issued in 1927. If you mean a Queen Victoria penny red, then the value is subject to debate because the cancel mark would be incorrect for the stamp. The Penny Red was issued in the 1850s and by 1927 was long out of circulation. There are so many variations of the Penny Red, it's pretty hard to value. I've seen some go for hundreds of dollars and others a couple of dollars.

No independent Scottish stamps were officially issued in 1927.

It can be used for 6 cents postage. It can be purchased for about 20 cents used and a bit more in mint condition. You won't find anyone that wants to buy a single copy for more than face. Dealers sell sheets of them for 80% of face value.

Scott Number 2183 pictures Sitting Bull. This 28c definitive stamp was issued in about 1986. It has good value, a used will cost you $1 and $1.30 in mint condition.

Scott 329 was an early commemorative picturing the landing at Jamestown. This 2 cent stamp was issued in 1907. It can be purchased in mint condition for $47.50 and used for $3.75.

Scott Number 1851 definitive pictures Henry Knox. This 8c stamp was issued in 1980. It can be purchased for 45 cents used and 50 cents in mint condition.

A commercially produced First Day Covers of standard commemoratives like the Alaska statehood stamp are typically worth a dollar or two. They can be purchased for on eBay or through dealers. Higher value stamps, or specific cachet makers are worth more. A specialized catalog will list the value of a cachet or un-cacheted cover.
