Well, depends on how you look at it. The Telos Holocron contained many information from Darth Bane, Sidious, Ajunta Pall, and many others. But I doubt that Bane actually "possessed" it. But from what I know, he did have a holocron of his own.

Darth Bane is about 5,000 years older than Darth Vader, Darth Sidious' apprentice. Darth Plageuis is close to being as young a Sith as Vader. So, Darth Bane, the first sith in thousands of years in his time to have the "Darth"-title, is thousands of years older than Plageuis.

In the original saga it was Alec Guiness and in the newer movies it was Ewan Mcgregor.

Yes, there was a handful of changes in the 2004 edition of "Return of the Jedi." One of them is at the end when we see Anakin, Yoda and Obi-Wan's ghost, the head of Sebastian Shaw (who played Anakin in the first edition) was replaced with the head of Hayden Christensen (who played Anakin in the prequel trilogy), but Shaw's body remained. And at the end when the entire galaxy is celebrating the destruction of the Empire, the scene on Naboo was also added in.
