On the Staten Island side, you get on at the terminal which is on Richmond terrace by the police station and the ball field. The train and any bus in the area going in that direction will go into the terminal. Manhattan side it's on Whitehall. You can take any train going downtown to south ferry,Whitehall, or bowling green(you have to walk a few blocks from here).
