Was Survivor season 22 - Redemption Island - the greatest season of survivor ever?

Some contributor were not fans of the season:
- Personally, I was not a fan of this season. Everyone just followed Rob and his game plan. Nobody else utilized tactics of their own, they just followed his lead. The game requires contestants to Outplay, Outwit and Outlast. The only player to do this was Rob Mariano. Past seasons were more entertaining as they were less predictable.
- I agree! This was by far the worst Season ever! It was way too soon to bring back Rob and Russell! Especially when Heroes Vs. Villains was still fresh on everybody's mind!
While others enjoyed the season:
- Yes. This was a comeback season for Survivor. Past attempts at adding interest (Heroes versus Villians for example) fell flat... not only did they select contestants that didn't ring true with viewers (too few authentic people and too many preparing for their media careers) but the challenges were starting to look old and revisit moments I didn't want to see. (More excuses to get nearly naked women to roll around in mud for not specific purpose? No thank you)
Bringing Rob and Russell back worked well, it forced the contestants to change their game play. Then the challenges were multi-dimensional and interesting. (hmm notice how no one nearly died this season? About time)
I can't wait to see the next two former players they bring back for the next redemption island.
