Survivor is the reality television game show that popularized the genre. Contestants are isolated in the wilderness and compete for cash and other prizes. The show uses a system of progressive elimination, allowing the contestants to vote off other tribe members until only one final contestant remains and wins the title of "Sole Survivor".

These are place names located in the filming location of Caramoan, Camarines Sur, Philippines: Gota is an islet and beach and Bikal is a neighborhood (or using Philippine terminology, barangay).
Contrary to what is posted elsewhere, these words do NOT mean "survivor" or "powerful" in any Filipino language I can reckon - in Tagalog those would be "nakaligtas" and "malakas"; the latter in Bicolano (which is the locally appropriate language) would be "marikas".
How much do contestants receive for survivor reunion show?
The Survivor reunion show is built into the contestants contracts from the beginning of the season. The only reason a contestant wouldn't show up for this would be due to pregnancy, illness, or a death in the family. All contestants receive $10,000 for appearing at the live show.
