well first of all you can choose whether you want to connect with another Tamagotchi device or go on the dating show. i recommend connecting to another Tamagotchi. well if you choose to connect to another Tamagotchi you would of have to of be pretty good friends before you marry otherwise the Tamagotchi's may refuse to marry each other. to strengthen the bond just connect to the other Tamagotchi and play a couple of games. that would probably make the friendship level high enough.

It depends on how long you have it paused, really. Usually for me, it takes about a week for it to become an adult, but I pause it every day that I am at school! I have an idea, experiment! Wait for a long school vacation, like spring break or summer vacation, or any time you have off of school! Keep your Tamagotchi with you and paused at all times! Record the date and time of when you started the experiment! Every time that your Tama grows older, record the time and date! When your Tamagotchi turns to an adult, write down the time and date, and compare it to the time for when you started the experiment! That should be how long it takes!

For V.3's..When your tamagotchi gets to the age about 7-8,a match maker will appear. Another tamagotchi ,the opposite gender will appear after her,the picture will pause,and there will be a message pop up saying LOVE? . If you want to have a baby press YES,if you don't want to have a baby press NO. If you pressed YES, The tamagotchi baby will pop up in atleast a couple seconds - a minute.. Then your girl/boy will pop up next to its mother. The mother will stay with its baby 1 night..The next night at 11:59 the mother will turn the lights on,and stare at her beloved,and precious baby...A minute or two later...She will turn the lights off and leave.
