It probably didn't hurt. Although Bundy was crafty and pretty slick all on his own, degree or not. He was very cocky prior to the death sentences and even thought it a good idea to be his own attorney. He was actually only a first year law student before dropping out and became a killer on a full-time basis.

When Bundy was 14, a neighbor, eight year old Anne Marie Burr, disappeared in 1961. She was never found. Bundy knew Burr since she took piano lessons from Bundy's uncle. Although it has never been confirmed, many think Anne Marie was Bundy's first victim. Many times a serial killer's first victim is close to the killer's residence, within their 'comfort zone'. As they gain confidence they tend to expand their hunting grounds.

As for the rest of Bundy's victims, it is generally believed that he knew none of them, they just had the unfortunate luck to attract the killer's attention most likely by their physical appearance.

One of the first and I think the best is The Deliberate Stranger, starring Mark Harmon as Bundy. The made for TV movie first aired in May 1986.

In this case, it does not. The reason the DNA comparision did not result in a 'smoking gun' pointed right at Bundy was contamination of the Burr samples. The evidence being decades old had been handled by untold numbers of hands over the years. So although this doesn't convict Bundy, it most certainly does not exclude him either.

The cold case detectives should pursue an impeachable DNA sample from Burr, such as hair with the root bulb still attatched. If that is not possible another avenue would be to get samples from Burr's full siblings, all of whom which are still alive.

On February 15, 1978, Officer David Lee stopped Bundy on a possible traffic violation. When running the plates he discovered the car* was stolen. There was a brief struggle but Officer Lee finally cuffed Bundy and booked him into a Pensacola jail cell.

Serial killer Ted Bundy does/did have a daughter with his wife Carole. After Bundy's execution in January of 1989 Carole changed their names and moved away, destination unknown.

I'm only guessing but maybe The Simpsons, Family Guy or South Park. Not only do these animated programs frequently use celebrity guest stars they do not shy away from notorious criminals like Bundy. Example: Family Guy made use of OJ Simpson's notoriety.

If you mean did he have a partner in crime, the answer is no. Bundy worked alone. Before his arrests he had friends in local politics but that is about the extent of his associates.

we have the trials on June 7, 1977 in Colorado which he scaped. The second trial was wheb Bundy went to trial for the Chi Omega murders in June 1979 and he went to trial for the Kimberly Leach murder in January 1980.

We can approach this question with many doubts. We have to begin stating that under suspicion was 14-year-old paper boy Ted Bundy, the kid from the next block. Another fact is that she was snatched from her home at night. Bundy was convicted of kidnapping and sentenced to prison as an eyewitness and Bundy's gas card receipts placed him at the scene. Getting gas in a middle of a crime is not a smart thing to do; he should have filled the tank before and pay with cash. That was not very organized.

After his capture in Florida, it took years in death row for Bundy to spit out crimes and clean himself. Ted had been confessing for days, hoping to postpone the electric chair. Experts did know he lied confessing to a larger number than the ones he committed.

Bundy wrote "you have been misled by rumors about me…I had nothing to do with her disappearance…At the time I was a normal 14 year old boy…I had absolutely no desire to harm anyone."

In his confessions to extend his life, he couldn't tell some places that bodies were found in Colorado and Washington. If he had something with those crimes, he could have a change to bargain. Having killed this girl, he would have something good to make a deal by leading then to the burial site. Most thinkers don't think he did it. In the other hand, the reason that he became a suspect at 14 years old points to a fact; that persons knew there was something wrong with him.

In the contrary, he is the American worst image that an outsider can have.

There are some differences of opinions on this question but the most poplular answer seems to be that Bundy used the 3rd person speech habit to distance himself from the crimes he committed. Instead of using the personal "I killed", or "I raped" when speaking of himself he would say "you kill" or "you rape".

When FBI interviewed Bundy for his help with the Green River Killer of the 1980's he explained that "he would go back to the dump site" or "he would have sex with the dead body". Just another tactic to put himself center-stage again.

In 1969 Bundy re-entered at Washington State University and began a relationship with a woman (fictitious name) named Liz Kendall. He remained in the state through the early 1970's.

Brenda Carol Ball disappeared from the parking lot of the Flame Tavern near the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport 1 June 1974. Before his execution by electric chair 24 January 1989, convicted serial killer Ted Bundy admitted to murdering Carol. Her remains were later discovered at the Taylor Mountain sight. Brenda is believed to be Bundy's sixth victim in the Washington/Oregon area.

It's important to understand how killers like Bundy operate. All of their lives they have 'dual' lives in a way. The one that nobody sees until its too late, and the one they show to the world. The one that enables them to walk among the masses, their true self hidden. They need this cover. Without it they would not be able to do what they do, which is kill. Nobody in their right mind would have gone with Bundy if he showed his true face, hence the mask.

By the time of Bundy's trial for the Leach murder he already was facing 2 death sentenses. The pressure was on, his secrects were being revealed, and he was begining to unravel mentally. This is very common with serial killers. If you study his crimes, you can tell he was falling apart quickly during the Florida murders. He knew it was just a matter of time.

At that last trial, that was the Bundy that really was, no mask, no charm, his handsome face contorted in rage. That is the face that all his victims saw as they were dying. Think about that.

Louise Bundy believed her son to be innocent of all or most of the crimes he was convicted of. Right up to the night before his execution. Their last conversation was just hours before he sat in Florida's electric chair, when her son finally confessed his guilt in the murders of dozens* of young women in at least 5 states. I consider Bundy's family, especially his mother, another victim.

*Although he confessed to about 35 murders, Bundy hinted that the total was far higher. But forever the control freak, Teddy didn't spill all the 'beans' before his execution.

With few exceptions, Bundy did not live close to his victims. Much of his hunting took place on college campuses.

No possibility at all, for many reasons. The Zodiac's crimes included several murders in southern California. Cheri Jo Bates, a Riverside College student was found murdered on the morning of October 31, 1966. Bundy was in Washington state, about 1,200 miles from Riverside.

But there is a more obvious descrepancy between the two killers. Bundy's criminal MO and signature are polar opposites of the Zodiac's. Bundy targeted lone females of college age. Zodiac usually attacked couples. Bundy bludgened and then strangled his victims. Zodiac used guns and knives. Zodiac got a thrill by taunting police, seeking publicity at every turn. Bundy was just the opposite. Initially, he neither wanted or needed to draw attention to himself or his crimes.
