I heard NC but I'm willing to bet it's somewhere far away from PA and the Gosselin's family and friends. Now that they are receiving the heavy pay days from TLC they no longer need their family and friends so they can move on to bigger and better I guess. It was also stated in an episode of J&K + 8 that Kate "hates the cold" so since she always gets her way and Jon has no backbone to speak of, I'm sure she got her way. Also, the TLC film crew if from NC so how much more convenient it would be for them to now film this family even more! Those poor kids....

Jon and Kate were then approached to do a reality show for TLC. Jon and Kate liked the idea, because with 8 kids it was hard to get family moments on tape. The Gosselins liked the idea that the show might capture moments of their lives they would otherwise have missed. The reality show, Jon and Kate plus 8 began when the twins were 6 and the sextuplets 2. Many people enjoyed watching Jon and Kate take on parenthood with 8 kids! The show was probably a hit because Jon and Kate are very relatable people. They have the same problems and conflicts we do, except to a different degree with 8 kids. Many people find them inspiring.
