Gale and Katniss saw a girl and a boy while hunting in the woods. The boy was killed, and the girl was captured in a net dropped by a hovercraft. The girl, who is later known to be called 'Lavinia', becomes an Avox.

That the girl that he has liked since kindergarten (5 years of age) is Katniss Everdeen.

When she is in the arena, she looks at Peeta, and he distracts her. Not on purpose, but because Haymitch told her that's where the most people do.

Because the only time they meet is in the arena. There is a flashback in the book where Peeta saves her from starvation. Katniss finds it difficult to let Peeta become a friend because eventually she knows she will have to kill him if she wants to go back home.

God no! He's in love with Katniss and Peeta's also in love with Katniss and gets kiss her in front cameras all the time! He's insanely jealous, but doesn't hate him because apparently, according to Gale in the second book, he's to nice to hate.

Katniss dumps a Tracker Jacker nest on the Career's heads. Later Katniss kills Marvel and makes Cato angry. Then last when Cato is being mauled and devoured by the wolves, he asked Katniss to kill and him and take him out of his suffering which leads Katniss to send a arrow flying through his skull

Everything is told throught Katniss Everdeens (the main characters) eyes. As it happens. Very simple. :)

In chapter 3 Effie's comment is "At least, you two have decent manners," Effie goes on to describe how her two tributes last year ate. This comment angers Katniss and she eats the rest of the meal with her fingers and wipes her hands on the tablecloth.

It was described in the book. After the death of her father, Katniss's mother was so devastated she zoned out into a nonresponsive depressed state, leaving an eleven-year-old Katniss all by herself to try and fend for herself as well as her mother and 7-year-old sister Prim. She dug through the trash cans at the bakery where Peeta's family worked to look for food, but was shooed away by Mrs. Mellark. Peeta saw this and, as an act of kindness, purposely burned two loaves of bread, knowing that his mother would make him feed the loaves to their pigs. But he didn't anticipate the blow to the head he would get. Then the next day at school, Peeta showed Katniss the first dandelion of the year, which Katniss interpreted as a symbol that she is not alone

katniss volunteered because of Prim(rose) , her younger sister. Kattniss will do anything for her loved ones.

It is 'Mockingjay' pin.

A mockingjay is a fictional bird created by Suzanne Collins that is the offspring of a mockingbird and a 'jabberjay' ( a fictional bird created by the Capitol to spy on rebels)

The mockingjay becomes symbolic of Katniss

Well it's a match to the death so you would try not like any one. Because you would have to kill them. And Clove had a good chance of winning so wen she sall that Katniss was good she did not like her. Also Clove is just a bitter person. That the only things I can think of.

Katniss doesn't actually get to save Peeta from the Capitol herself. A small team (including Gale) is sent to rescue Peeta. Katniss is completely against this and wishes to be in on the rescue, but it wouldn't be safe for her- District 13 needs her. ANYWAY, haha, this all occurs in book 3, Mockingjay on page 166 (in my book) Chapter 12.

The first time the Avox girl is inside Katniss' room she is only reading Katniss' bed for the night. She also is given the command to take Katniss' chariot outfit to Cinna. Katniss uses this to tell the girl "sorry"; about that night and about how Gale and Katniss had not helped her. Another time the Avox girl is in Katniss' room is after Katniss' rampage. Katniss had been so angry that she had taken all her plates and smashed them around the room. The Avox girl comes in and is surprised at the mess, but helps Katniss calm down. They them spend the rest of the night cleaning up the mess. She then tucks Katniss in. This makes Katniss feel forgiven about how Gale and herself had just stood by watching the girl be taken by The Capitol. The final time the Avox girl is inside Katniss' room is after Katniss has won The Games. Katniss is confined to her bed and is struggling to get out. A door opens to reveal the Avox girl. She brings Katniss her food and answers Katniss' question as to if Peeta had survived or not. She answers her with a nod, and as she gives Katniss her spoon Katniss feels "the pressure of friendship". This is the last time Katniss sees the Avox girl until the Quarter Quell.

But yes she does go twice once for her sister and then one after the country starts having uprisings because of her she & Peeta go both times and they both survive both times

There are many settings including all of the districts (for the victory tour), the 75th hunger games arena, train, the capitol, the victors village in district 12, Katniss' house.

Mostly the capitol and the arena though.

She had the injuries from before, the burns, the tracker jacker venom. At the very end, she was blown backwards from the explosives, and in 17 her new injuries were the air got knocked out of her, her left ear is damaged she's dizzy, she can't walk, and she passes out.

Claudius Templesmith announces that there may be two victors as long as they are both from the same district. Katniss realizes that her and Peeta can both win if they are the last two tributes alive. Katniss then goes out in search of Peeta so that they can team up.

Finnick Odair is a male victor from District Four. He first competed in the 60th Hunger Games, and won, and then he was pulled into the 75th Hunger Games along with his district partner, Mags. Finnick is deeply in love with a girl named Annie Cresta, and when she is reaped into the 70th Hunger Games, Finnick goes insane training her so that she will win and come back home. Annie spends most of her Hunger Games hiding, but when there is and earthquake that breaks a dam, she wins by being the best swimmer. When she comes back, she is mentally unstable, but Finnick still loves her.

In the Third Quarter Quell, Finnick teams up with Peeta, Katniss, Mags, Wiress, Beetee, and Johanna Mason. He is amazing with a trident, and from his first Hunger Games, he killed his opponents by making nets, waiting for them to get caught in them, and then spearing them with his trident. Him, and his allies get taken back to the Capitol only after Beetee destroys the force field.

You could also say she has a passion for singing. But that is more of a talent because she is a good singer, but rarely sings as it reminds her of her father.
