The Hunger Games

First off, Prim doesn't go into the Hunger Games. Katniss takes her place in the drawing. So technically Prim does live but she isn't in the Hunger Games.

The female tribute was killed in the "bloodbath" at the Cornucopia at the beginning while the male tribute was killed by being stabbed in the stomach with a spear by Cato after Katniss returned to the Cornucopia to get supplies but ended up blowing them up. Both of the District 3 tributes are unnamed

The hunger games isn't out on DVD yet

The Hunger Games is told from first person point of view because authors feel that they can bring their characters out to readers better. They can relate their feelings and emotions to their characters better when saying "I" rather than "He" or "She".

The Hunger Games is full of emotion, and Katniss Everdeen is full of constant emotion. Her thoughts and feelings are better shared in first person point of view.

There is no official "nickname" for District 12 or any districts for that matter. However, within District 12, everyone calls the area of houses for the underprivileged people of District 12 "The Seam". These are where the people who struggle without enough food or money live ( the majority of the district are from the Seam). Also, people with olive skin, dark hair and dark eyes are considered to have the "Seam look". It is mentioned in the books that Prim and Katniss' mother look out of place because of their blonde hair and blue eyes, a genetic combination that is not common for people from the Seam.

Panem

Panem is the name of the country where Katniss lives with her family, a country that - after a series of vague disasters - rose from the ashes of North America. Droughts, storms, fires, war: it's all pretty post-apocalyptic. We learn the history of Panem, and the Hunger Games, and the thirteen districts in the first chapter from the mayor. The uprising of the Districts is known as the "Dark Days" (1.74). After the destruction of District 13, the Treaty of Treason was signed to end the conflict, and the Hunger Games were instituted to remind the districts that the uprising must never be repeated.

Suzanne Collins has said that Panem is supposed to be like ancient Rome: "Panem itself comes from the Latin expression 'Panem et Circenses' which translates into 'Bread and Circuses'" (source). This term refers to the techniques used by the Roman Empire to keep the masses happy and docile by keeping their bellies full and their minds entertained (read more here).

District 12

District 12 is a very poor coal-mining district located in the region formerly known as Appalachia (3.50). Katniss and her family live in the poor section of District 12, the Seam, where the coal-miners live and work. There is also the Hob, the black market. The district is surrounded by a sometimes-electrified fence from woodlands.

Stephen King calls District 12 "the Chicago Cubs of the postapocalypse world" (source), meaning that they almost never win the Hunger Games. The poverty of District 12 is often contrasted with the wealth of the Capitol.

The Capitol

Speaking of which, the Capitol is a shining city of wealth and grandeur city located where the Rockies used to be (3.50). The people of the Capitol are shallow, speak in a funny, affected accent and value surface appearances, plastic surgery, and entertainment. Being one of the richer districts, they also view the Games as television entertainment. Katniss, of course, despises the place.

When Peeta get hijacked by the capitol he loses his memory and now he only has bad memories of Katniss and tries to strangle her. The doctors try to unhijack him by putting good memories of Katniss back in his mind. Soon he comes back from the Doctors to District twelve. He and Katniss grow back together and at the end when they are in bed Peeta wispers "You love me real or not real" Katniss says real. They get married and have two children together.

But Peeta has always loved Katniss.

Peeta begins to sleep with Katniss when he discovers she's having nightmares. Not the other way around, but yes he begins doing so in Catching Fire.

One time when katniss was telling peeta a story in the cave she flashed back on how she got prims goat but there are meany other than that one

at the end of the games, Katniss and Peeta where supposedly to win but they revoked the previous announcement that two of the same tributes from the same district can win the hunger games. When they heard this Katniss took out the poisonous berries and gave some to peeta.They held them out and were about to eat them before the announcement was called that they won the 74th hunger games.

He convinces him to change the rules i think, in the movie Seneca talked with Pres. Snow about something about an underdog. I;m pretty sure, even if i haven't read the books.

Katniss's stylist is named Cinna in The Hunger Games. Good book by the way.

She would run as far as she could and keep complaining about the "hideous" outfits they are assign to wear and how she couldn't bring her stupid wigs.

along with that there we trackers jacker stings and some minor injuries

because its the least desirable.

I'm not sure.

But... really... would you actually be able to forgive someone who blew up your one and only little sister?

You would know so if you have seen the movie, or more importantly read the books. This will be quite hard to explain if you haven't read the books, but I'll try.

In the 74th Hunger Games Katniss and Peeta both win, in the finale they kill Cato by throwing him to the mutts. Katniss and Peeta then go to eat nightlock, (a berry that can kill you in ten seconds) but Seneca Crane stops them, and they are both crowned victors instead of just one of them.

IN the 75th Hunger Games, Plutarch rescues Beetee, Katniss and Finnick, where as President Snow gets Enobaria, Johanna and Peeta.
