President Snow forced Seneca Crane (the Head Gamemaker for the 74th Annual Hunger Games) to each the berries. Specifically, they were nightlock berries, the same berries Katniss and Peeta pretended to eat in order to fool the Capitol and win the games. Seneca was forced to eat them as punishment for placing nightlock in the arena, as though it was his fault Katniss and Peeta pulled the suicide stunt.

Because when she was presented as tribute at the 74th Hunger Games, shes was wearing an outfit with a cape that created an illusion that it was on fire.

The little girl, Rue, from Distrcit 11. Katniss became allies with Rue cause Rue's personality matches Katniss's sister and Rue helped Katniss without even knowing about it at first

In the book, Mr. Mellark showed kindness to Katniss by bringing her some bakery-quality cookies and promised that he would make sure that Katniss's younger sister Prim, wouldn't starve.

A tessera is something that families get if they have no food. For every time a family gets a tessera, one of the kids gets another 4 slips of paper in the reaping with their name on it. Then the mayor of that district will give that family some food (normally grain).

Originally, there were 13 Districts, but the Capitol destroyed District 13 before the 1st Annual Hunger Games. This also means that The Hunger Games are also a reminder of what happened to District 13. The first 12 Districts, however, each have different resources, and still exist.

District 1: Luxury Goods for the Capitol

District 3: Technology

District 4: Fishing

District 5: Power

District 6: Transportation

District 7: Lumber

District 8: Textiles

District 9: Grain

District 10: Livestock

Districts 1-3 usually were where the Careers were from in the actual Games because their Districts are richer and have more food. These well-fed Tributes also were especially allowed to train for the Games (while people in other Districts risked arrest), in case they were picked; despite the fact it was illegal.

Katniss eats different things in the hunger games. She eats fish, groosling(like a wild turkey, but once plucked the size of a chicken), roots, nuts, berries, rabbit, lamb stew with dried plums, rolls, bread from district 11, mint leaves, and fancy capital food.

They don't say how he is tortured for rebel information, but Collins does say that they changed, toyed with, and messed up his memories using tracker jacker venom. The venom changes his memories about Katniss making her seem scary. This leads Peeta to want to kill her.

Sometime in the future. Upon reading, we learn Panem is located in a place once known as North America so I assume about 50-100 years in the future.

She saw a mockingjay in the corner of the screen, the appeared each time she saw it. She met two people in the woods, saying they would go to district 13 because they saw it too, and said each one was from the same time and that they are hiding something.

The force field that keeps them in the game breaks by an electrical force and Katniss is taken away by people from district 13 (district 12 was destroyed by the Capitol) and she is told that Peeta was captured by the Capitol.

More then half of the districts created a new district(district 13) that was blown up a few years back, and the people recreated it underground. They were planning before the Quell was announced, that they would break open the force field durring the games. After it is discovered that Katniss and Peeta were to return to the arena, the planned to take Katniss and Peeta after the force field is blown up, but they end up taking just Katniss. They think that the Capitol will use Peeta as bait to bring Katniss to them and reveal the under ground city in district 13. Haymitch knew the whole time but didn't want Katniss and Peeta to know. They wouldn't have made alliances with the districts as apart of the rebellion. District 12 was destroyed, but gale saved many District 12 before the explosion and escaped to the woods. That is all you learn in that book, but there is more about the escape to be learned in the 3rd book.

She upsets the capital by her and Peeta threatening to commit suicide and then telling them "what's better 2 winners or no winner?"

So then they both win but the president threatens to kill her family and friends if, she doesn't tell the capital that her love for Peeta was real.

She's not even in the movie. If you're talking about who played Katniss' role, then you mean Jennifer Lawrence :)

It can be said that both antagonists in the Hunger Games series were punished. President Snow, who is the antagonist throughout all three books, was either trampled to death at the end of Mockingjay or choked on his own blood; it is unclear. President Alma Coin, an antagonist that rises up in Mockingjay, is shot and killed by Katniss Everdeen's arrow, which was meant to be for President Snow.

You could say that every Peacekeeper was an antagonist, but you cannot say for sure if every one of them was properly punished.

In the 74th Hunger Games, the female tribute died the first day in the bloodbath at the Cornucopia. The male tribute was placed 10th and died on day 8. He was probably killed by the Careers but could have died of other causes.

The author, Suzanne Collins, may call her next book "The Victors"

but she isn't sure yet. It's supose to come out in September of 2010.
