Prim's name was only put in the reaping once unlike others whose bands were put in many times. She also was very scared and worried Which added to her stunned reaction.

In the Hunger Games Katniss does not go and get the bow for a two main reasons. Number one is that by the time she would have gone after it the careers would have already of been there, and secondly Haymitch told her the first thing to do was put distance between her and the others, if she wanted to stay alive.

Solemn, trustworthy, shy, to a point. But, she's not very trusting, or nice, really. She's not mean, just not nice. Except to Rue, and Primrose, and Peeta, maybe Gale. Katniss can be a handful, but she's a great, tough heroine nonetheless.

Katniss and Peeta speak on top of the training building so their conversation can't be overheard. They think their voices would be covered by the wind if they were being listened to with microphones.

The antagonist of the story would be society in general because she hates her life and how everything is. It changes throughout the series though so in book 1 the antagonist would be society itself

the reason Katniss is weak and dizzy when she wakes up is because she was just cut by clove and it was raining while she was asleep.

when katniss and gale were in the wood they saw her running with this boy and air ship came down killed the by and took the red hair girl away the capitol cut her tonge off and she became an avox

There are many flashbacks used in The Hunger Games. Most involve Gale and Katniss in the woods. For instance, there's the flashback of when they see the Avox girl, a flashback of when they meet, of when Katniss procures a goat for Prim by trading her game, etc.

Katniss is shocked because she recognizes the name, and feels scared because Peeta saved her life before (by giving her the bread) and she is thinking how she will have to fight him in the Hunger Games.

During The Hunger Games--the Games, not the book--Katniss' outfit is the same as every other tribute's, aside from her mockingjay pin. The pin later symbolizes rebellion among the districts.
