When Haymitch reminds her that all of the tributes are already friends and she only has Peeta. The gamemakers give them both a 12 so they will be targeted first and Katniss does not want Peeta to die, so she decides it is best.

There's no resolution to the whole plot, but escaping the arena was a big resolution to being in the 75th annual hunger games. That made both Katniss and Peeta get out, and one of my favorite characters, Beetee ;)

It is extremely unlikely that something like The Hunger Games would happen in real life. If it were to occur, it would take hundreds of years to have North America develope into a nation like Panem. So therefore, you probably have nothing to worry about for a while.

Katniss notices a trackerjacker next hanging in the tree, so she cuts it down. When it hits the ground, it breaks open and the tributes run to escape. Katniss is stung also and begins to hallucinate, but Peeta comes back and tells her to run. She runs in the other direction before passing out. When she awakens, she discovers that Rue has been taking care of her.

The rising action is the suspense that builds upon to the Climax the one that makes you gasp.

the Rising action of the Hunger Games is when Katniss Everdeen volunteers as tribute for her 12 year old sister, Prim. The next Rising Action part is when Cinna puts her opening costume of the fire cape and is later known as the girl on fire. Next is when she's fighting in the games up until the end of the games.

He used the edge of the arena, which is a force field that bounces anything thrown into it back up, as a weapon. The other tribute threw an axe at him and he ducked. For a moment they both stood there, trying to stay alive, until the axe rebounded and sunk into the other tribute's head, therefore making Haymitch the winner.

The falling action would most likely be when Katniss is waking up from being electrocuted and being picked up by the capitols aircraft. And is then caught trying to kill Haymitch with a syringe.

No, the actual bodies were sent back to their respective districts for funerals. The wolf muttations (called mutts) were most likely made by combining wolves with each tribute's dna, which could've been collected by the prep teams. There was most likely muttations made from Katniss and Peeta's dna as well, though they weren't unleashed because Katniss and Peeta were still alive and the point of using the tributes in the genetic experiments was to freak the other tributes out

Rue was trapped in a net when Katniss found her.

Glimmer is the female tribute from District 1, also a Career in the Hunger Games.

They dont take him seriously until he starts to take them seriously.

he realises that for the first time he has "a pair of fighters".

after that, Haymitch starts to sober up and help them survive the games.

Katniss thinks that the way the siblings (Cashmere and Gloss actually aren't twins), especially Cashmere act when they are interviewed is fake and unbelievable. But Haymitch explains to her that they are desperate to stop The Games. In general, Katniss sayd they are polite but cool, although she is somewhat annoyed when Cashmere insults her.

Run away from District 12 and out of the oversight of all of Panem and the Capitol. After Katniss asks about her family, Gale suggests they take them with them, to which Katniss is skeptical about her sister, Prim, in the woods.

No, Katniss and Prim do not die in the first book, Prim dies in MockingJay, and it isnt mentioned when Katniss dies.

Panem is supposedly located in the ruins of North America.

Peeta had collected poisonous berries called Nightlock, not knowing they actually were poisonous. He left them next to their food. Foxface stole some of the berries and food and ate it, also unaware they were poisonous, and died.
After the announcement is made that there can be 2 winners of the 74th Annual Hunger games, Katniss and Peta team up to be the two victors. During their journey to succeed, they decide to split up. Katniss hunts and Peeta finds food from plants. Peeta unknowingly gathers poisonous berries and brings them back to their resting spot and then goes out to find more food. Little did he know Foxface had been following him and Katniss for a while. Foxface decided to snatch the berries that Peeta gathered and run off undetected. But, since the berries were poisonous, she dies and the cannon sounds.
