Tilapia is high in purines, a rich source of protein and omega 3 fatty acids and as such Will increase your uric acid. High purine/protein foods like this will increase the production of uric acid if you eat too much of them.

Tilapia is yummy and Brim tastes like bottom of the pond. Tilapia lives in the sea, brim live in ponds and streams. They are also smaller and have a higher bone to meat ratio.

Talapia is the name of around 100 different fish which includes several varieties of bream. Most of the talapia we buy commercially are from fish farms and are specifically fed to effectivly change the flavor of the fish.

No fish that I have ever heard of eats grass (and as a biologist, I know a lot of fish). If you are referring to a fish that you'd buy at the pet store, I'd suggest you'd stick with fish food. If it is a fish you cought, just let it go and let it find its own food.

In the wild they can get up to 18 pounds or so, but that is very rare. On average lakes and ponds they will be about 2 or three pounds. In controlled, small lakes they can average about 6 pounds.
