What does a wrinkle look like?

Wrinkles are creases, folds or ridges in the skin. Most commonly, wrinkles appear as we get older. However, they may develop after our skin has been immersed in water for a long time. The first wrinkles to appear on our face tend to occur as a result of facial expressions. Sun damage, smoking, dehyration, some medications, as well as a number of other factors may also cause wrinkles to develop.

She didn't explain it to Meg, only Charles Wallace; therefore, we don't know how Mrs.Murry explained the tesseracts.

How does meg feel in a wrinkle in time?

Meg is a VERY stubborn student, a so called "moron". She is very impatient, and yet she is very intelligent. She knows many shortcuts in math and science, so she doesn't like the LONG way that the school teaches the subjects. She "sets a fine mental block" for herself.

Why did meg reject her father in A Wrinkle in Time?

Dr. Alexander Murry was and is a physicist. A group of scientists were playing with the concept of tesseracts, and Mr.Murry was one of these scientists. Their aim was to get to Mars. The scientists "picked straws", and Mr.Murry was second on the list to tesser. Mr.Murry,as I said before, was heading for Mars, however, because of his inexperience in tessering, he ends up on Camazotz. That is when IT captures him in a glass cylinder, which is transparent on the outside, but inside is pitch-black. In that cylinder, Mr.Murry and IT fought for 5 years. Mr.Murry says to Calvin that he believes that he could not have been on that planet for more than two years, however, time apparently "flows differently" there than on Earth. He was released from IT when Meg saves him from IT using Mrs.Who's spectacles, which apparently re-arranged the atoms in that cylinder. (These spectacles apparently are for one time use only as well.) After that, he joins the three kids in the rest of the quest, and is re-united with his other children, the twins Sandy and Dennys, and his wife, Dr. Kate Murry.

Note:

Everything that happened before Meg saves Mr.Murry is explained in Calvin O'Keefe and Mr.Murry's conversation on Ixchel whilst Meg is paralyzed from tessering through the "Dark Thing". This conversation stops once Meg finally starts to regain feeling.

What is the conflict of the book a wrinkle in time?

The "Dark Thing" is trying to take over. It makes Earth troubled and unhappy.

In A Wrinkle in Time what did Calvin read to Charles Wallace before putting him to bed?

Calvin's gift was communication. He tries to pull Charles Wallace from IT using his words, and he did for a split second. Then IT claimed Charles Wallace again. Only at the very end does Charles Wallace get released, but if you want to know how, go read the book!

The Rising action begins around chapter 4 an ends around chapter 7. Mrs. whatsit shows her other form ( a centaur/angel thingy) to the children after they tesser to Uriel and the fly around the planet. Mrs Whatsit points out a dark shadow called "The Black Thing" and then they leave Uriel to see the Happy Medium. The first time they tesser they land on a two-dimensional planet that causes Meg and the others to be flattened. Mrs. Which tessers away quickly an apologizes to the children once they land on the Happy Mediums planet. The Happy Medium shows them their planet, which is covered by The Black Thing. They then tesser to a place called Camazots, where Mr. Murry is captured. They notice Camazots isn't normal and go to the CENTRAL Central Intelligence Building, where the man with the red eyes hypnotizes Charles Wallace. The climax is when Meg finds her father and meets IT.
