How can you memorize your trumpet scales quickly?
Every scale has a progression! For now, lets speak of a major scale, using the c major scale as an example.
STEP, STEP, HALF-STEP, STEP, STEP, STEP, HALF-STEP
c to d(step, d to e (step), e-f (1/2 step). f-g. g-a. a-b (3 steps), b-c (half step)
of course that's just going up backwards to go down.
lets try this with three flats in the scale (Key of e-flat)
e-flat to f, f-g, g to a-flat, a-flat to b-flat, b-flat to c, c to d, d to e-flat
I hope you can see that the pattern remains constant.
Now I am not smart to give you a minor scale, a major or minor scale diminished scale, a blues scale and the like. but there are patterns and when you memorize the pattern for each scale applying it is simple.

What muscles are used for playing basketball?
The precise answer is: •Traipses, calf, biceps, trapezius, anterior deltoids, posterior deltoids, pectorals, hip, and quadriceps are the primary muscles used in volleyball.
There are a variety of muscles used to play volleyball. There are several different types of actions in volleyball that use different musclesin different ways. Serving- If you are serving from the ground (not jumping) then the muscles used are the bicep tricep and shoulder muscles. You also use the muscles in your forearm and wrist as well as some support from the abdomen. If you add a jump (jump serve) then you would include all of the major muscles groups in the lower body, Gluts, Calves, Hamstrings and Quads. Hitting/Spiking/Blocking- You use several different muscles here as well for the arm motions you use the same muscles as you would for serving. Except for here you use the midsection as well. The leg portion uses the major muscle groups Passing/Setting- The power from setting comes from the shoulders wrists and legs- Specifically the calves in the legs. Passing uses the shoulders and the legs specifically the quads. IF this question is asking what muscles are used so I can build up strength in the most important ones then the answer is this- The quads, shoulder muscles, pectorals and the Abdomen are places I would focus on. The higher you can jump the better volleyball player you will be. Most people use weight training and plyometrics to build their lower body.

Why was the trumpet called the trumpet?
Where are you getting your information about the trumpet being so popular? Yes, some instruments may be in higher demand than others at a certain time, but this is do to cost of the instrument, cost of the lessons, and how commonly used it is in culture. It is really hard to say that one instrument is "more popular" than another. How many people with that instrument are actually playing it? How many people settled with a cheaper instrument until they can afford the one they actually desire?
And the key question here is why does it matter if one instrument is more popular than another? Play what you heart is drawn to, and you will paint beautiful music together.
The question didn't say anything about a trumpet being more popular than other instruments. Trumpets are popular for a variety of reasons, just like any other instrument that's popular.
In this contributor's experience, people who wanted to take up an instrument in school saw that the trumpet only had three valves and determined that it must be easier to play than other instruments.
What is the difference between flute and trumpet?
Trumpet has bore that remains the same throughout most of its length before flaring rapidly close to the bell. The flügelhorn bore is conical from the third valve onwards and the bell is larger, giving a mellower sound.
There are also construction differences. From the mouthpiece receiver tube, the trumpet tube goes forward before sweeping back to enter the third valve, whilst the flügelhorn receiver pipe directly enters the first valve and as a result, instead of having a tuning crook, the receiver tubes is telescopically adjustable.
The fingering and pitch is normally the same in that both are Bb transposing instruments.
Minor clarification: they CAN be in B-flat, but trumpets are available in other keys besides B-flat.

Where can you buy a YTR01MQ Trumpet?
Short answer: You really can't/shouldn't try.
Long answer: Trumpet valves and pistons are "lapped" to make sure they have a perfect fit. No other piston will fit properly in the valve on your trumpet without some "surgery." You'll end up with a valve that either won't move smoothly, or leaks. Bad news in either case.
If you really need to replace a piston, your best bet is to take your trumpet to a shop and let them have a look. They can probably fix your trumpet, or at least make the new piston fit properly.
What size trumpet mouthpiece should you use if you have full size lips?
Very generally speaking, a larger mouthpiece allows more air to be put into the trumpet, which can result in a fuller sound. Also, in a general sense, the shallower the cup ot the mouthpiece, the easier it is to play higher notes.
What is the difference between a trumpet and a baroque trumpet?
As a general rule, when a part indicates "Trumpet" it is for the b-flat trumpet, so there is no difference. Depending on where you play, you may sometimes see a part for "trumpet in C" or some other key, but unless you play in a symphonic orchestra, that isn't all that common.
Which is easier to play trumpet or flute?
This will be a biased answer, because I play trumpet...
However, there are several reasons why I prefer the trumpet. First of all, it is one of the most recognizable instruments. Most people have difficulty identifying an oboe or a baritone, but the trumpet is always recognized. Trumpet parts are often very fun to play, with some exceptions. The trumpet is also a more glorious instrument.... you never hear about the flute sounding in the bible, it's always the TRUMPET!
I play the flute and I think that it's the best instrument to play. For a female I guess the flute would be more feminine. The flute sounds smoother and is quieter than the trumpet. Trumpet seems alittle harder even though i've never tried it. Also one key on the trumpet could play a few other notes and that could get confusing sometimes but the flute has different fingerings for different notes. The flute case is way smaller than the trumpet case so it would easier to carry around. FLUTES ARE SO MUCH BETTER. I LOVE PLAYING MY FLUTE!
Well this is some oneelse and he is right people who play trumpet will say trumpet but flute players will say flute. Personally I play flute and the the bias holds.
Okay, I play trumpet and flute, so I'm going to try not to be biased. I like both instruments for different reasons. I started flute in fourth grade and trumpet for jazz band in ninth. I like trumpet because it's got a bright, cheerful tone. I also like how loud it is. After so many years, I'm audible in band! However, at times, I don't like how loud it is. When you overshoot on one of the high notes, the whole band can hear you, at least, that's what it feels like. I am not a fan of the spit valve, although it is nice to empty it on enemies. On the other hand, I love the flute! We get all the fun trills and fast sixteenth note runs. Flutes can produce lovely, soft, calming sounds and ear splitting high notes. Plus, once you can play flute, you can easily learn piccolo. The problem with flute is that it can't really be heard in marching band, which is why I and many other flautists play piccolo for marching band. Oh, and by the way, frm my experience, flute is much harder. I picked up the trumpet in ninth grade and in two weeks was playing the jazz band music decently. Not just fingering the part, actually playing it. I played in my first concert with my trumpet after a month. Flute has a much harder embrochure and takes a ton more air, as you lose most of it over the top of the instrument. Plus, the fingerings are tricky, especially since there are so many fast runs that invole a lot if fast hand movement. Then again, I started trumpet after I had previous musical experience, so... In conclusion, no one instrument is "better" than another, and I love all my instruments. The real question is "Madison Scouts or Phantom Regiment?"
I play trumpet AND flute and some other ones...but anyway I love both of them but trumpet is a lot harder to learn. I played flute first and learned it in a week and have been first chair for 5 years and not once have I been 1st chair trumpet. I LOVE BOTH OF THEM!
