That really depends on what dinosaur, or rather what type of dinosaur, you're referring to: are you asking about the carnivorous reptiles like Tyrannosaurus rex, or the herbivorous dinosaurs like Brontosaurus and Stegosaurus?
What is bigger than the t-rex?
Theres loads such as:
-Giganontosaurus
-Charchorodontosaurus
-Spinosaurus
-Brachiosaurus
-Camarosaurus
-Gigantosaurus(Don't confuse as Giganontosaurus)(Gigantosaurus is a Sauropod)
-Apatoosaurus
-Diplodicus
-Argentinasaurus
What is the difference between a tyrannosaurus and a tyrannosaurus rex?
T-Rex had a bigger skull
Allosaurus had 3 fingers. T REX had 2.
Allosaurus was smaller.
They lived at different times.
Allosaurus was lighter weight and T-Rex was bulkier. Both were predatory animals as well as scavengers.
What is bigger a spinosaurus or a t-rex?
Spinosaurus was larger, but the Tyrannosaurus is much stronger.
I would imagine it tastes like well... erm... imagine all the animals that you can get meat from... and there is your answer:L
I don't know but I think it wouldn't taste THAT nice. maybe with some salt...
Answer Two:The closest you can come to is to sample a variety of birds, which likely evolved from dinosaurs. Ostrich meat might give you a pretty good idea. Are chickens related to t Rex's?
Very distant relative...all of the therapod (bipedal saurischian) dinosaurs had similarities in their skeletal structures that indicate a kinship with modern birds. Some say that raptors are more likely to be in the direct line.
What is the physical description of a T-Rex Dinosaur?
Tyrannosaurus was the most deadly of all big carnivorous dinosaurs (although not the biggest) . It is aproximatly 46 feet long, and 19 feet tall. It hunted hadrosaurs like Edmontosaurus and horned dinosaurus such as Triceratops and Torosaurus. Although it wieghed 6 -7.5 tons, Tyrannosaurus could run about 23 mph. With a 3 ton bite, Tyrannosaurus could easily crush bones with its 7 inch teeth and 5 ft long jaws. Males and females probably mated for life, and helped their offspring survive. The average lifespan Tyrannosaurus is nearly 40 years, and reached adulthood at age 25. Although its arms were puny, they could lift 2,500 lb with those little stubs. What their use is a mysterey. Although without a doubt Tyrannosaurus was a fearful hunter, also ate carrion (dead animals) when given the oppertunity. Tyrannosaurus is found in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico and even Texas.
Who would win in a fight tyrannosaurus rex or spinosaurus?
This fight is most likely 50/50.
To solve this problem, we must first look at the combatants.
Tyrannosaurus
Weight: 6.4 tons
Length: 12.8 metres
Weapons: Bannana-shaped serrated teeth that could break through bones and an 8 ton bite force.
Advantages: Stronger bite force, probably more agile, larger brain.
Disadvantages: Much smaller, its arms were very small and weak, and it could probably take less wounds.
Spinosaurus
Weight: 12 tons
Length: 18 metres
Weapons: Long, deeply rooted teeth, a 3-5 ton bite force and long, hook-like claws on flexible arms.
Advantages: It was much larger, and its weak spots (head and neck) would be out of the reach of its opponent. It was more muscular and likely could take more damage.
Disadvantages: Slightly weaker bite force, and the fatty hump on its back would make it slightly less flexible.
The fight is almost completely balanced.
My opinion: Personally, I think the t-rex would have won because the spino. usually hunts for fish rather than dinosaurs while the t-rex regularly hunts, and also if spino falls, he dies because spino's spine is connected to the fin.
Why can't people live on the prarie?
Yes people do live in the prairie. More than five thousand people live in the prairie.
Does t rex eat any other dinosaurs?
It is extremely unlikley that Tyrannosaurus hunted other Tyrannosaurus. T-Rex's may have killed each other when fighting for territory or even fighting over a mate. However these confrontations probably end with one of the Tyrannosaurs backing down and retreating rather than being killed.
What family of dinosaur does the trex belong to?
All true dinosaurs belong to the clade Dinosauria (the clade contains multiple dinosaur families). Dinosauria belongs to the larger clade Dinosauriformes, and several layers of larger clades before reaching the clade Archosauria, which includes birds, dinosaurs, crocodilians, and many types of extinct animals.
Does the T-Rex and the triceratops live in the same time period?
No. Stegosaurus was a Jurassic dinosaur that lived between 155 and 150 million years ago. Tyrannosaurus was a Cretaceous dinosaur that first appeared about 68 million years ago, and died out in the K-T extinction event 65.5 million years ago.
What was the diet of the tyrannosaurus rex?
The majority of dinosaurs were herbivores - they ate of the grasses, ferns and plants around them. Carnivorous dinosaurs ate herbivores - and possibly small proto-mammals and perhaps birds. Some of the carnivores were likely carrion eaters. Some dinosaurs specialized in eating other dinosaurs eggs.
Do T-rexs have any predator or prey?
The tyrannosaurus rex is a predator feeding on anything it could fit in its mouth
Tyrannosaurus Rex was one of those which is widely believed to have taken good care of it's offspring. The female lays the eggs and watches over them long after they hatch. It is a point of contention as to whether the father helps to care for the eggs and the young rexes after hatching, or if the mother is left to do so herself. There is a theory floating around which states that it is very possible the males were solitary and territorial, more likely to kill any young T. Rexes it comes across in an effort to ensure receptivity of the mother for mating. Reguardless, the young are cared for and taught to hunt and kill by their mother until they have reached sufficient size to fend for themselves, at which point the parents leave them to do just that. There is not thought to be a bond of 'love' between mother and offspring, just an instinctual need to ensure their survival. If the mother fights off an aggressor after her children, and is unsuccessful, she would likely have no qualms about devouring the carcass of her young, seeing it as no more than an energy source to refill her own reserves after the battle.
