The holy grail of MMA is PRIDE FC, in that division competition is far more brutal than in the UFC. It was in fact in PRIDE, where the mighty Gracies were finally shut down, and their dominance ended. It was also in PRIDE where Mark Coleman became more skilled at the proverbial game, before he was just a wrestler/brawler, but fighters such as Fedor Emelianenko forced him to polish himself.
