No. Not all vampires are evil. Some are good beyond imagining, though for them to get to this point, some amount of control is needed. An example of good vampires are the Cullens from Twilight, the vampyres from the House of Night series, and the Moroi and dhampirs from the Vampire Academy series. And while there isa formidable amount of good vamps, they will most always be outnumbered by the bad vamps.

To be on the more friendly side, vampires may not be real, but to be more supernatural about it, it says in legends that vampire are beasts of evil and are sent to hell when killed. But according to The Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith, vampires don't go anywhere after the die. Instead, their soul just disappears. There is no afterlife for them when they truly die(as in getting staked through the heart kind of die).

Just as an excess of iron is a debilitating condition in a living person, vampires too can suffer from the condition. I have know certain vampires to become very irritable and discomforted by 'what is probably' just that.

They are however able to self-regulate the excess by excreting it from their pores (sweating). A vampire can recover from such an imbalance in a matter of days.

There are 16 known oxides and oxyhydroxides of iron and a 'sweating' vampire can express a few of these, although only one at a time.
