Well actually they are in fact at war, even in your own town or city they are at war you just don't see it. Most vampires have they're own "Gang" or Clan in you will and as do Werewolves. But of course they're not going to show it in public or anything that they are one or the other. The war is dieing out but its still going on. In fact earlier tonight i saw a few fight over it. Of course the werewolves (Myself) are very territorial and ask the vampires to leave but they decide to stay and fight. I was with my Close friend at the time and stayed out of it but they argued it out and the vampires ended up leaving. My whole clan knows that the area is Werewolf territory and as do the vampires but as most of them are they are stubborn and want to test our patience. But either way back to the main Question, to answer it it is because they want the territory.

The high lords all have an assistant I was very good friends with Clayeon, the vampire sprite guide. when I became a high lord Clayeon ask me to be my assistant I said no because he had not proved himself Clayeon asked me why our friendship didn't help I told Clayeon that to make him assistant because we were friends would be a disgraced to tour friendship Clayeon swore vengeance for this and he did not lie about that he attacked me and many of the lower lords were on his side as well I slaughtered all of the low lords accept Clayeon due to our old friendship saying to him "I let you live in honor of our old friendship do not make me regret this" then I walked away later on we were friends again and Clayeon had proved himself as a lord but at this point I had a son and he was my assistant Clayeon and I are friends again The main reason that werewolves and vampires still have hate is because they were fighting at the same time that Clayeon and I were and some will still not let the old war rest but I am not going to say that we all hate each other werewolves and vampires will mate each other so that proves that there is some fogginess.
