Iron Maiden have not and probably never will be in the "Rock and Roll" Hall of Fame. The Hall is run by a group of low-lives from Rolling Stone magazine who registered an official sounding name and each year nominate "hip" artists for them to hang out with and their talentless friends. As such, most of the artists in the hall can barely be described as "rock and roll" in any way, and I would rather such an outstanding band like Iron Maiden not be included in such a list of hacks.

Eddie invited Patty Smyth of Scandal to replace Roth but she refused. Eddie was then introduced by way of a mutual auto mechanic to Sammy Hagar, formerly of 1970s band Montrose, and at that time a solo artist coming off a very successful year (his 1984 album VOA had yielded the hit single "I Can't Drive 55'"). Hagar agreed to join, also serving as a rhythm guitar onstage to add to the Van Halen sound. The 1986 Van Halen album 5150 was a hit, becoming the band's first #1 album on the Billboard charts.

Soon after that, Eddie signed a recording deal with Warner Brothers. Then they came out with the hit single "Runnin' with the Devil." Within six months of its release, it made platinum status.

Acordingf to an issue of Guitar World, his Frankenstrat is consittered priceless. But you can only find out at auction. If you use his once played Charvels that he used on his 2007-2008 tour, which the highest one (New Your) sold for $80,000, you can only imagine what his Frankenstrat would sell for. But, from what I understand, this guitar is so destroyed, its unplayable.

David Lee Roth never left the Van Halen band. He still tours with them.

Actually David Lee Roth officially left the band on 01 April 1985. But did re-unite to do a few songs with them in 1996 only and then came back just for a re-unite tour in 2003.
