this sounds like the rear bushes have worn or possible totally failed , you may also notice a small amount of play on the back end of the car while cornering , parts should cost between £20-£30 and take around 2half hours doing it yourself , or in garage on on a lift you shouldn't be payin for more than 90mins labour !!!

this happened to my vivaro 1.9 dti and my mate who is a mechanic removed the egr valve and gave it a good clean with carbon cleaner for about an hour and it is fine now hope this helps with your problem

well, eventually the most critical thing that can happen is the engine will seize up.

when the head gaskets blow, the antifreeze and oil begin to mix together in the engine, mainly in the cylinders. when this happens, you are getting improper mixtures of everything within the engine. this will cause you to leak oil, antifreeze, get worse gas mileage, and the engine will over heat very very easily. have the head gaskets replaced as soon as possible to save yourself from a world of trouble.

Just under 5 litres. That will be 4 litres then to top Up with about half a litre. To much oil is as bad as not enough.

You need to have the codes read by a codereader, then cleared by the reader after the fault is repaired.

My vauxhall zafira's alarm keeps going off at 3.30 - 4am every morning. we have a key to dis arm the alarm but can not find where to put it to turn it off. and why is it going off.

yes you can....first locate the grey or white screws ..... normally behind the pull out sections in the rear cargo area ....and then unscrew them (okay obvious) and then gently pull off the lens cover......

dont pull off to hard as this might damage the bulb holder underneath....

To open the filler cap, you press the cover and it should open (with the car unlocked). To close it, you press it down again until it clicks. Sometimes the flap stays open. Move the red plastic tag, holding the actual fuel cap, as this can stop the flap from closing.

Yes it will. You have to watch the grassy slopes though- We towed our 2 berth compass caravan with a 1400 Astra- On the open roads it towed well - but you may need a little bit more powerful engine to tour any hilly areas

the corsa 1.3 cdti is chain driven hence no timing belt but they are prone to braking if they do a lot of short trips and you do need special tools to change it,they didn't make a 1.4dti on a 55 plate

i would think u could get a used one for less than 50 bucks,if not able to get a good used call your GM dealership

Try pressing the "reset button" for the trip meter, pressing the brake pedal, and while holding them bot "pressed" turn the ignition on without starting the engine.

If that does not work it needs to be done by a Vauxhall agent.

If it was serviced recently by a Vauxhall agent just take it back and ask them to finish the job, as resetting the indicator is part of the service.

Engine code 14NV stage 1 25nm stage 2 + 60 degrees stage 3 + 60 degrees stage 4 + 30 degrees stage 5 wait 15 minutes stage 6 + 30 degrees stage 7 + 15 degrees Tightening sequence 10---6---2---3---7 - 9---5---1---4---8 Bolts 7 & 8 are at the flywheel side of the engine

Handbrake adjustment instruction for Mitsubishi Colt CZ2 2006 There is a rear cup holder behind the handbrake. get a hoover with just the hose attachment.. suck up the cover plate on the inside of the cup holder. this will reveal two star type screws.. (not phillips) simply unscrew these and the whole cup holder comes of if you gently pull towards the rear of the vehicle. you will see two cables linked by a floating balance plate. This in turn is directly linked to the handbrake mechanism. make sure the car is on a flat surface and in gear to prevent it rolling you can also put something to stop the wheels rolling if you want to be uber safety conscious next release the handbrake to the floor. finally, using a 10 mm ring spanner tighten the nut on the balance plate clockwise. !!!! Warning!!!! stop occasionally to check the handbrake is not too tight. four or five inches of travel on the handbrake when applied is ample. Also, when you think the adjustment is complete and where you want it, release the handbrake again and make sure there is a little bit of play in both cables otherwise you will be driving with the handbrake slightly on all the time...NOT GOOD!!! then do a little test drive... and hey ho! bobs your sisters brother. If this engine is an interference engine it may have done damage to valve, piston, or head. Or the timing is off so far that the engine will not start. Install a new timing belt correctly and start the engine. You will then know if any damage was done.
