in volley ball the setter in back just rotates as a normal player (hitter) until they get to the front where they run a 4:2 so the person in the middle switches with them after the ball is served and switches back after every point so people stay in rotation

take an aproach with your feet. take one long step with ur left and two small steps after so its- left, right left. then jump. track the ball with ur left hand (this is for a right handed person) and swing at it with right hand, snap ur wrist when u contact ball and follow thru with hand at side. if ur left handed, ur aproach is right, left right, track with right hand, swing, snap, and follow thru with left.

being a varsity player on my team, the abilities for playing volleyball are: being able to make a clean pass (bump), having a high, floaty set, and being able to jump over the net for a fast and powerful spike. you may want to work on sprinting so you can move fast towards the ball. push ups and squats will strengthen your arms and legs so they are stronger during play. your serving is very crucial because the other team should NEVER score a point off your serve. having a good clean and low serve is best. hit the ball hard with the palm of your hand and try to make it barely go over the net so the other team is unprepared for where the ball lands. and always place your serve to the weakest player on the other team

volleyball and basketball are different in many ways. in volleyball, you have to keep the ball from hitting the ground. however in basketball, you have to kepp dribbling the ball. in volleyball, you usually stand in one place, but in basketball you continually move going after the ball..etc.

Volleyball was invented by William Morgan in 1896 in Holyoke, Mass. And was originally called "mintonette".Morgan's friend James Naismith had recently come up with a new game involving a ball and two peach baskets, but Morgan thought this game, known as basketball, would be too strenuous for middle-aged folk so he invented his own game, one that would soon be known as volleyball. They both worked for the YMCA.

In a volleyball game, while a rally is going on the team that has possession of the ball has a maximum of three hits to get the ball over the net. The most common form of this is a bump then a set then a spike. The bump is when you close your arms and pass the ball to your setter and at that time the setter sets the ball with his fingers to somebody who is ready to spike the ball to hit the ground on the other side. volleyball has different meanings to different people. To me i absolutely love volleyball i play year round and have always been on the most advanced teams and for about two years i played two ages above my actual level. so to me volleyball is important because i love playing it, playing with my friends, and learning more. i just now realized that i have actually touched a volleyball every single day this summer!! also i know that the more i practice the better i get. I have this daily drills that i do at home that have gotten me from 3rd grade level to a level that's two years above my actual age.
