try getting a thick coozie which you can take out the bottom. Stick your arm though it and position it on your arm just below the elbow. you might look weird but it works.
Smooth and calm. The less choppy the better, that way when you go outside the wake to preform tricks and land them, it will be smooth.
Wakeboarding is a total body workout. Most of all though, wakeboarding builds a strong core.
QUADS QUADS QUADS bra
if you got weak quads and legs for that matter, ur not gonna be able to stop, balance, go fast, jump, flip, move, snowboard, look cool, etc...
u need to build leg muscs
leg press and quad extend machines will do it
start lo weight high rep, then high weight low rep

If you are a beginner I would spend no more than 350$ on a wakeboard. Get either a liquid force or hyperlite. Just a basic simple model. The length of the board depends on the weight of the rider.
Rider Weight (lbs) Wakeboard Length (cm)
<100
<130
90-150
130-134
130-180
135-139
170-250
140-144
200-275+
>144
I would say a 132-136 would be the average size board. It isn't so important that the size is exact for beginners. Now getting a pair of bindings that will fit everyone is the hard part. I would just goto a store that sells wakeboards and try them on.
No not really you will probably have a lifejacket on so all you have to know is the basic.
Hope this helps
Wakeboards vary significantly in size and shape depending on their intended use. Longer wider wakeboards with squarer edges are best for beginners whereas shorter narrower more rounded boards are better for performing tricks so are more suited to experienced riders.
