For you'll need your skis. To get a good pair you'll spend probably close to 120 dollars. You'll also need a tow rope. These cost about 15 dollars and can be purchased at sporting goods stores. If you don't already have a boat you'll need to rent one the lakes marina. All prices for boats are different so it all depends. If you already have a boat you're good to go.

well you need enough hp to get the skier out of the water so between 25 and up is good. i ski behind a boat with 270 and its plenty

18 yrs or older Actually some resorts will take you when your 16, and a few will when your 15. I haven't heard of any lower ages but you might find a ski resort that will take you at 14, but I don't think you'd be able to at any lower of an age. Many ski resorts will require or ask that you have a PSIA certification.

if u hit something or someone, it could kill you OR if you fall and your ski hits you in the head, it could knock you out and you could drown. not to mention paralization, broken bones, loss of limbs, etc. but it is still fun, and you should try it! =)

In Australia PFD (Personal flotation device) type 2 or 3. Type 2 has brighter colors that 3. Type 1 is too bulky, only needed for off shore waters. Neoprene type 2 & 3 suites are the best as they fit nice, but I didnt want to pend the extra money.
